   Summary

A dedicated Marine Lieutenant leads her squad into Mindoir, in the early days of the conflict between Humans and Batarians, and unknowingly meets the future saviour of the galaxy. Kind of a prologue to my wider collection of Mass Effect stories featuring Vik Shepard, and includes some setup for that character.
