Chapter Text
Class meetings were something everyone in class one-a dreaded. It meant that something bad was coming, it always did! That's why it wasn't a surprise to the half-asleep teacher when a few students nervous poked their head around the corner before stepping in. Others slowly shuffled over to the couch, some seemed on guard, hands at the ready to protect and defend with their lives.
"Class." Aizawa glanced around as he mentally counted up 20 different heads. "Alright, now that everyone's here we can start." He took a seat on the counter-top behind him, watching as everyone seemed to relax more at his calm exterior.
Therapy is most definitely needed, Aizawa thought to himself. For a second his class finally looked like normal teenagers. No panicked glances, gentle touches to each other as a reminder that they're all alive. They were simply basking in each other's company without a care.
He gave a soft cough to remind them all about the matter at hands. "You all will have your time back with each other in a moment. First, I have decided that today I'm going to give you all my number," everyone seemed confused at that simple statement. At the beginning of the year Aizawa had told them all that they shouldn't ever need to get a hold of him to a point that his number would be needed.
Yet here he was, sitting them down with his phone now in the hands of Midoriya who was typing in his name on the contact bar.
"Mr. Aizawa?" Mina spoke up, her hand way up in the air a gentle reminder of how energetic she was usually. "Why are you giving us your number?"
There was no easy was to present the subject, so with a quiet sigh Aizawa tried to break it to them. "Well," how do you tell a bunch of high schoolers you can see how much their deteriorating, "me and many other staff members have been taking notice to how all these villain attacks could be effecting you."
The air seemed to drop around them, everyone on edge. Thoughts running, memories playing on repeat. Did they not hide it well enough? Were they not good enough to be heroes? "And we all as staff and your mentors have decided that we need to strengthen our support for you. So, hound dog is offering up therapy services for you all and I am giving you my number in case you ever, and I mean ever, need me."
Finally, the phone got to Momo and as she typed in her number and contact name, things started to lighten for some of them. They had Aizawa there, the Aizawa who they all knew cared about them, who they knew would drop things to save them in an instance.
Aizawa was handed back his phone, did a quick double check with every student to make sure they had his number and he had theirs. "Now remember, I don't care how late or early it is. If you need me, or just anyone at all, call me. I don't care if I'm first or last option, I don't care if it's four in the morning. I'll be here for you, okay? For now, just hang out with your friends. I'll be in my office."
With that, Aizawa was off to his office. Phone clutched in his hand, blissfully unaware to the chaos that was about to happen to his life. All the worry and realizations that would come from just a simple number exchange with his students.
At first things were normal, his students mainly called if they were locked out of their dorm or if they couldn't remember what had happened in class. Though, things quickly took a turn for the worst on a late Saturday evening when he got a panicked call from someone he didn't expect.
Bakugou Katsuki is calling. . .
