You woke up to an empty stomach. When you checked the time on your DDD you saw that it was only a few minutes past midnight. You tried to get back to sleep but your rumbling stomach made it impossible. That meant you had to eat something. It didn’t matter if you wanted to or not.
Slightly annoyed, you stood up from your bed and made your way to the kitchen. But when you arrived you saw that someone was already there. It was Beel. Of course, who else could it be.
You already had a bad feeling about the amount of food that was left but despite your feeling you took a look inside the open fridge. And just as you thought, it was empty.
“Oh, are you hungry too, MC?” Asked Beel who was still standing by the fridge while eating the last pudding that was left. You just stood there for a few moments. “Yes, I am. Why else would I be in the kitchen? But it looks like there’s nothing left anyways.”
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know that you were hungry too. Otherwise, I would have left something for you as well.” He then stopped eating and held his hand with the half-eaten pudding in your direction. “I know it isn’t much, but you can have the last pudding if you want to. I’m sorry for eating everything that was left in the fridge. Tomorrow, I’ll buy you your favorite snack, I promise!”
You felt a smile crossing your face. Even though you were hungry, and a bit annoyed you could never get mad at Beel. He was too precious, and you adored him way too much for that. “It’s alright Beel. You can have it, I’ll eat something tomorrow morning.” He looked at you for a moment before replying. “No, I insist that you have it.” You gratefully took the pudding from Beel’s hand and started eating the rest that was left.
Maybe it was because you were still half asleep, but the pudding tasted so much better than usual. Isn’t that something that Beel always says? That food tastes better when you’re enjoying it with someone you like? “Thank you, Beel. I don’t know if it is because you’re here, but that pudding was absolutely delicious! Also, I’m going to take you by your word. We’re going to buy some snacks together tomorrow, alright?”
“Of course, we’re going to buy so much food that you won’t ever have to wake up hungry again!” Beel replied while seemingly thinking about something.
“MC, if you wouldn’t mind. Would you stay with me just a little longer?”
