"Hey," Donatello greeted, cause it'd be weird to not say anything. He held his own —significantly smaller than the other's— flower bouquet close to his body with a single hand as he waited for some sort of response. He received another silent glance, but nothing more than that, and the unresponsiveness actually pissed him off a bit. "I don't remember seeing you at his funeral."
"...I didn't assist," replied the man, folding that letter neatly and saving it in his pant's pocket. Only then did he steal another look at the blond man and something seemed to catch his attention, because he frowned slightly and kept his eyes on him for a while longer before speaking again. "Are you Donatello, perhaps?"
Donatello visits his father's grave after a year of his death. There, he meets a stranger that captivates his attention at first sight.
