Summary
The sun had already started its descent in the sky when he started making his way over. He was traveling via the rooftops like he always did. When he was about halfway there something caught his eye. There was a figure standing really close to the edge of the roof not 3 buildings over from where he was.
Taking a few seconds he readjusted his course. The limelights would have it covered, he reasoned with himself. That’s what they do. They were the ones that saved people in situations like the one that he had been heading to. Where the media was all over it and they gained favor through that. Saving people from jumping off of tall buildings is what he did.
With one final jump and roll he was on the same roof as the person that he had seen.
They clearly didn’t hear him land cause they didn't turn their head to see who he was.That wasn’t a good sign. He just hoped that he would be able to talk them down and hopefully try and help. He was thinking of the way that he could approach them without startling them off of the edge when he heard the voice that he had gotten so used to hearing over the past 2 years.
