Chapter Text
* There’s something about sitting in the same room as the man that can create and destroy with the flick of his wrist
* A real, bonafide vampire
* Hounds and all, even
* Why were these hellhounds about, anyway?
* Licking and lapping at your face and any exposed flap of skin
* The soft, grainy sensation of gloves ghosting over your hand as you pet your hair into place with anxiety
* You were in a mild state of panic
* Why were you here again?
* Oh, right
* You were placed here for protection for yourself
* That man was the danger and so are you
* A danger to yourself, even
* How incompetent
* Sir Fairborn really couldn’t believe she even had to do this
* To place you with that thing
* But well, it really is for your safety
* The hounds stopped licking at you and vanished into the air once again
* Gone like all the other things Alucard makes
* You froze and stopped fidgeting with your hair
* You hesitantly look up at him
* You, such a small, frail thing
* Pudgy and shaking and tearing out of fear
* You wished to disappear the moment you were in his presence
* Such a tall, terrifying, overwhelmingly strong vampire and you
* Insignificant
* A mere human
* He outclassed you in every way
* And yet he was tasked with watching over you?
* Annoying
* That’s what he thought, anyway
* So why were you asleep in his bed
* Curled into his side
* With his hellhounds dog pilling you?
* He would have to bitch out Integra later
