Ok everyone. If you don’t know me, my name is Mike Wheeler and I live in Hawkins, Indiana I’m really excited for tonight because Will and I are scheduled to play D&D together. He’s supposed to be here in like, 10 minutes ish?
*doorbell rings*
“MIKE COME GET THE DOOR!!!” my mom yells aggressively. Ugh. I doubt this is even Will, he’s never that ear- “WHO TF ARE U??” I say, taken aback by the tall, black haired kid (that low-key looks like me) standing at the door.
“Hey hey calm down. Look, it’s a lot to explain. Please let us come inside!” The weird teenage dude pleads with a whiny tone. I then notice that he’s with Jonathan Byers. Weirdly enough, someone that looks exactly like an older version of Will is with him too… I reluctantly let them in and lead them to my basement.
“Care to explain who any of you are? And Jonathan, why are you with these people?? Are they your high school buddies? I don’t care about them!” I whine. I just want to have a fun night with Will, not these hobos.
“Hold on to your seat my dude. This ones a willlddd ride” Another guy with long hair exclaims.
“Look Mike,” The black haired guy started.
“HOW TF DO U KNOW MY NAME.”
But then to my surprise, he and the rest of this gang shit are being explained to be me, Will, Jonathan, and some new guy named Argyle from the FUTURE. They have to save the world from this evil weird dude named Vecna or something. Older Will then says, “Oh and I drew a drawing of Vecna just so you can get the general ide-“
“Will, sorry bud, but we don’t have time for this. El is practically putting her life at stake back at home.” Older me huffs. What the actual hell. I will always love to see Will’s drawings!! And who on earth is Elle?? Do we get a new member?? They didn’t explain her to me. Will’s face droops into a frown.
“Wha? I’d love to see what Vecna looks like, Will! Oh, and who’s Elle?” I ask with a rushed tone. I mean, why do I even care so much about this Elle? Ugh, she better not be my girlfriend. Gross.
“El is my-well, our, girlfriend, and seriously, every extra second we spend showing off Will’s drawing is another second wasted where she could be dying out there!!!” Mike hisses.
Of course!!! In my lovely amazing future I turn out to be a douche with an endangered girlfriend. Yippee.😐 I look at Jonathan. He peers at me with a disappointed look.
“What?! It’s not MY fault that older me is a stupid mouthbreather!” I practically yell. Older me is literally so annoying. I’d hit him with a brick if I could tbh!!
*ding dong*
Oh thank god. I don’t think I can stand this alone. Plus, they needed Will to be here to explain exactly what they need in the past. Who knows why.
