"Noo, don't.. Please let me go"
A little boy was crying and begging for leave him alone and trying to get away from the group of bulling kids who picking up on him.
"Hah, hah look at this momma's boy, what a cry baby, such a little loser. guys, c'mon hit him again" the leader of the group yelled and other boys started to hit that little boy without any mercy.
Those kids were bulling kids and used to picking up on that kid often. And today is a day like that and innocent boy was helpless.
But suddenly,
"Hey, you basterds, leave him alone, or I will call the police and also I'm going to show this video to headmaster"
Another little boy came from nowhere and yelled at those bulling kids without any fear.
Bullies gang seems like shocked with that and few kids already ran away but not the leader.
"Who are you, and what video you are talking about? " leader bulling boy asked without letting go of the kid's shirt, who was beaten by them.
"I said leave him alone. And I have already recorded the way you guys hitting him. So if I show this to headmaster, you all will terminate from the school" the brave boy yelled back showing off his phone.
"Hey, let's leave him and run. Otherwise my mom will kill me" another kid whispered to leader and the left of the kids started to run away when the leader of the gang glared at him.
"Ok, I'm going to go now, but I will catch you later" he growled and shoved the innocent crying boy so hard, causing him to fall down easily.
As soon as the bulling gang left, the brave kid ran towards the crying boy who's now laying on the ground.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked helping the crying boy to sit on the ground.
The crying boy shook his head slowly without even looking at the person who rescued him and then he hid his head between his legs still sobbing quietly.
"are you hurt? Let me check on you? " the brave boy wasn't only brave but kind too. Finally the crying boy glance at his rescuer and looked at his kind eyes.
He was a kind looking very cute boy, who's face filled with a huge smile. He's very pretty and beautiful. And the wonder is he's never seen before this kind and loving boy before in the school.
He smiled again and offered his hand.
"Hi I'm Pete, what's your name friend? "
Pete! What a cute name. Just like the owner of the name. The crying boy thought. He was still nervous and shocked but the kindness of the Pete and his soothing smile made his heart a little bit easy. He glanced at the offerd Pete's hand then slowly hand shaked with him.
"My name is Vegas" he answered slowly in a very low voice. His voice was still came out like a cry.
But making little Vegas Surprise, little Pete put his arm around Vegas's neck and dragged him all over to his body like a side hug.
"Nice to meet you Vegas, and don't cry anymore. You are safe now. If they ever tried to hit you again, just tell me, okay? I will take care of them" Pete said like a brave soldier.
Vegas looked at him in surprise. He took few seconds and then slowly looked at Pete's face again.
"Um, Do you really recorded it? " he asked showing the phone which Pete was holding. But Pete started to giggle.
"Hehe, nooooo. This is just a toy. I don't have a phone. Even my grandma doesn't have a one. I just tricked them" Pete said like he's telling a secret.
Vegas understood that Pete has lied to protect him. What a brave boy.
Finally Vegas's little beautiful face lit up and turned into a little shy smile. Pete smiled with him ear to ear and then he slowly wiped out Vegas's tears.
"Pete.. " Vegas's voice came out slowly.
"Yes, my friend? " Pete answed enthusiastically as his usual way.
"Um, thank you for helping me" Vegas said smiling with Pete.
"Oh, you are welcome Vegas" Pete answed, still not letting go of his hand around Vegas's neck which he's holding Vegas.
"By the way Vegas, why did they hurt you like that? " Pete asked but his voice was so curious.
Vegas didn't answed him for few seconds, then his little face turned into sad gesture and then he started to sobbing again making Pete shocked.
"Oh hey, please don't cry Vegas, you can tell me anything. I'm not going to hurt you like them. Come, Let's become friends, huh? " Pete asked and offered his hand for the second time.
Veas looked at Pete's hand disbelief way and stopped his crying. In his life, noone offered him a friendship like that.
"Friends? "
"Yes, friends. You shake my hand and say, Friends. And then we become friends forever" Pete said in so excited way.
"I don't have any friends, no one didn't want to be my friend, are you sure that it will be okay? " Vegas's innocent voice is shocked little Pete.
"Oh, you don't have friends? That's really sad to hear. But it's okay. You have me now, so c'mon shake my hand" Pete said smiling again beautifully. Vegas looked at Pete's face and hand few times and then he shook Pete's hand.
"Friends" Vegas murmured.
"Yeeey, awesome, so tell me why did they hurt you like that. Now I'm your friend right? So I'm gonna protect you, so you have to tell me what's going on" Pete said like a adult.
This time Vegas didn't hesitate like before but his eyes filled with tears again.
"They picking up on me because I was crying" Vegas answed and Pete felt a huge sad inside of his little heart.
"Oh, Vegas, but Why did you cry?" Pete asked worrying about him.
Vegas looked at his hands which was on his lap.
"Because my papa hit me" Vegas said in a very slow sound.
Suddenly there's a fear in Pete's eye when he looked at Vegas. He took few minutes before speek to him.
"Vegas, my papa also used to hit me alot. I was also crying. But after I stopped crying and instead I started to spread kindness to him. My grandma teach me that and my mom was always there for me to make me feel better. So I think you should do the same thing" Pete said soothing Vegas's hand from his thumb. But suddenly Vegas started to sobbing again.
"I can't do that Pete, my mom also left me few months ago, after she passed away, I don't have anyone to make me feel better. Papa always hitting me and telling me that I'm suck, I'm useless and I don't deserve anyone's love. And he said that's why mom also left me, I'm so sad Pete, I even don't have any friend, I think my papa is right, I'm useless,I'm nothing, I don't deserved anything" little Vegas said while crying and hiding his face in his hands.
"Oh god Vegas. I'm so sorry to hear that. Please don't cry. I'm here. I'm here with you now. And I'm not gonna leave you ever. We will be stay together forever. I'm promise you. Please don't cry, okay? " Pete asked but Vegas couldn't stop his crying as his shoulders shaking with his crying.
Suddenly Pete stands up and hugged Vegas so tightly. Pete was a little bit smaller than Vegas, but still he managed to hold Vegas so warmly. Vegas kept crying and he was shaking with the pain. Pete didn't let him go but kept hugging him.
"Don't cry my friend. Your papa was wrong. You deserved to be loved. And I'm pretty sure that your mom loved you so much. And she never left you, she's with you in here" Pete said while putting his hand on Vegas's heart. Vegas looked at Pete's hand on his heart and again Looked at Pete.
"Oh, you know what, I also don't have my mother, she passed away few years back and I'm living with my grandparents because my father doesn't come home like past, he left me after mother passed away" Pete said in low and sad tone, wanting to calm down Vegas. But his own pain was visible very much
"Huh?, do you telling the truth?" Vegas stopped sobbing for a moment and asked.
Pete shook his head while trying to smiling at Vegas.
"Oh, I'm so sorry Pete. I never knew about it" Vegas took Pete's hand and held it tightly.
"It's ok Vegas. It happed few years ago and don't worry, I'm already used to that pain" Pete answered but his face said the all pain he's going through.
"Oh hey, I know what you want" suddenly Pete said in a exiting voice as Vegas glanced at him in surprise.
Pete removed something, which was around his neck, and then Vegas realised it is a necklace. Finally Pete held his necklace towards Vegas with a big smile.
"Here take it, it's my Mom's. She always said that when I'm wearing this necklace, mom always will be with me, in my heart. Just make sure this pendant resting on your chest. And for you, you can think of Your mom, my mom and also me. We all will be with you when you are wearing this" little Pete said so enthusiastically. But Vegas looked at him in a puzzled face.
"But I can't take it Pete, it's yours and it's from your mom" he said with a short hiccup.
"Agrhh, don't worry about it Vegas, I'm giving it to you because I used this when I crying just like you after that incident. But for me, now it's a long time ago but right now you are the one who want it most. Ah you know my mom also said to keep it with me and someday giving it to the person I love, he he" this time Pete said in a shy voice.
"Oh, but you gave it to me, then I will keep it few days and give it back to you" Vegas said in a worried voice thinking Pete couldn't give it to the person who he is gonna love in the future.
Pete shook his head smiling.
"Okay, that's good. Keep it until your sadness go away, then give it back to me. That's okay. But since I already gave it to you, you should always remember that you have a friend who loves you, okay? " Pete asked smiling very brightly and wiping Vegas's already drying tears.
For the first Vegas smiled very brightly as same as Pete.
Then Pete slowly put his necklace over Vegas's head and fixed the cute little pendant over his chest. Vegas looked at the necklace and Pete's face with a happy face.
"Thank you Pete, since now you are my best friend, I love you too" he said and hold Pete's hand tightly. Pete also smiled with him ear to ear tightens their holding hands warmly.

"Papa, please don't hit me, papa, no.. Please" Vegas kept crying in the night when Mr.kan slapping his little cheeks.
"How many times did I tell you to not going anywhere without telling me, huh? You idiot boy. I lost so much time because of you. Now hurry up and pack your bags. We are moving out tonight" Mr. Kan shouted and Pete was shaking with, the pain and fear. But after hearing the word moving out, he couldn't help but asking about it.
"But papa, why are we moving out? I can't go papa, I have to wait here. How I'm going to go to school? " Vegas asked crying.
But Mr. Kan slapped him again before giving him a answer.
"Shut up you stupid boy. Don't talk back to me ever again like that or I will kill you myself. If I said we are moving out, we are moving out. We are going to US. Screwe your school. You are dumb anyways so you don't have to worry about that. Hurry up and pack your bags. Whether you are ready or not we are leaving in hour or we all will get killed by those Italians. so hurry up you idiot" Mr. Kan barked out and left as Vegas started to cry loudly.
He only got his friend few hours ago and now he had to left the only friend he got in his life. The only one who understands him. The only one who said he deserved love. The only one who showed how good it's when someone caring and love you, the only one who said no matter what happened he's with you, the only one who said he loves him. Vegas hold the necklace so tightly and cried until he felt he's gonna faint.
After an hour, Mr. Kan came back and dragged crying Vegas and his little baby brother to the car and drove off to the airport. So like that Vegas lost his first ever best friend and Vegas was a crying mess until he fainted in the airport. He didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to his friend for one last time just like that.

14 years later
Riiingg.... Ringggg.... Ringgggg.....
"Hello?"
"Guess who's back you Asshole, he he hee"
"Whatt? Why do you calling in a different number? Omg don't tell me that you came back already? I thought you going to come next month, shiyaa man, you finally came back" Kinn shouted happily.
"He he, don't yell like that man, where's Khun? He will punch you if you shout like that" Vegas laughed.
"Damn bro, tell me where are you now? Are you in the airport? wait, I'm gonna come to get you"
"Woah, wait, wait I'm already here bro. Open your door" Vegas said giggling like a kid.
"Oh fuck you Asshole, you should have tell us earlier" Kinn cursed his cousin brother aka best friend and ran down to welcome him.
"Yo khun, Kim, Vegas is here" he shouted on his way and both Khun and kim also came out their rooms with surprise faces.
"What? That dumbass said he would coming next month, aargg I'm gonna kill him for giving me shocks like this" Khun yelled but he also ran out trying to hide his smile and excitement.
Kim laughed at his older brother, while run behind him.
Khun, kinn, and Kim are brothers in the main family. And Vegas and hs younger brother Macau were pretty close and caring each other so much. Even Vegas is his uncle's eldest son they all grow up together in US, until three boys had to come back to Thailand few years back as their Papa's order.
So now finally they going to get together again and they were waiting for this moment for a long time.
"You little basterd, finally came back" Kinn shouted and hugged his best friend tightly.
"Yo, bro Vegas" Kim also rushed and hugged both of Vegas and kinn. And then khun yelled angrily.
"Ohhhiii, when I got to hug my cousin bro, you idiots are crushing him already, you know what? Whatever, I'm going in too, he he" Khun also jump and hugged Vegas, Kinn and Kim in a group hug.
Vegas was crushed by them as he yelled giggling like a idiot.
"Woah, woah guys you are gonna kill me, he he, are you guys hugging me or crushing me? " he laughed while hugging his favorite people.
"Shuttup you ass, why didn't you tell us that you are coming today? Oiii, I'm nearly get a heart attack by this idiot's yelling" khun complained while letting go of his younger brothers.
"Well, I wanted to surprise you guys"
"Hey P Vegas, did Macau came along? " Kim asked looking out of the door.
"No, Kim, he didn't came this time, he will come later, but not sure man, you know, Papa's orders" Vegas said while going into the house.
"Okay, okay let this man to get some breathe" Kinn said and as all brothers get inside.

"What? Are you serious man? " kinn asked in a shocked face.
"Hmm yeah bro. This is my last chance to find him. Actually the only one and last chance" Vegas said in a serious way.
"So tell me, what happened? , I can't believe that uncle Kan finally let you come Thailand" Kinn asked getting a sip from his beer.
"A long story short, you know he was threatening me as usual to take the responsibility of the family business, but just like I always do, I was tried to get out from it, but this time he threatening to kill me if I didn't do as he said. So I understood that this is the end, there is no way I can survive without getting into the business" Vegas's voice was sad and very low. His lips were drying as he took a sip of beer from his bottle. Kinn's face also filled with sadness about his cousin.
"I understood that this is the only chance I get to ask what I wanted to do in my entire life. So I made a deal Kinn. I made a fucking deal. I promised him to do anything he wants, anything.. to get the family heritage as he forced me, but with only one condition. he should let me go back to Thailand and should give me one last year. And then. I'll go back as I promised" Vegas's eyes narrowed down as he remembered that he's really fucked up this time.
"What?, jeez Vegas. Are you sure that you are ready for that? I mean you never was. You never wanted to join the family business. C'mon man you just sacrificed your whole life to find him? Do you think he's worth it?" Vegas smiled sadly to Kinn's worried words.
"Yeah bro, it's worth it, because I want my true happiness back. I really want that. You know how many years I waited for this moment. I'm gonna freaking find my angel" Vegas said touching his pendant which he never taken off, in a very determined voice.
