"senkuuuu!" you yelled through the corridors as you near the science club room where you know the said boy will be
"senku—urgh" someone used a book, a really thick one at that, to give you a head chop
"quiet, you barbarian. your voice could be heard ten billion miles from where we are"
lo and behold, the man with lettuce-like gravity-defying hair! the president of the science club! the one and only greatest science nerd that you know! ishigami senku!
"you just announced my name with much exaggeration in your head, didn't you?"
"how did you know?" you gasped out, having been caught again by senku with your inner monologue
he knows you to the core. he's endured your nosy self for years so he knows how you have a very active and noisy brain. you chatter none stop whenever you're around him. whatever pops in your mind you let it out through your very loud mouth and exaggerated hand movements
if only you use it for useful things such as science or arts then senku would have had you as his partner for his experiments
thankfully for you and unfortunately for him, you use that genius mind of yours into doing something you really really love! and you wouldn't have it any other way
"doesn't matter. so what's got you shouting as you did?"
"hehe" your lips curl and senku looks at you in contempt as if doubtful that whatever you're going to say would be logical
"did you see this!" you shoved him your phone, you're on a website and senku squints his eyes before they widened
"this is..." he takes your phone in awe, swiping and clicking and reading through the articles
"i knew you were gonna love it being the science nerd you are!" you fist pumped as you started to blabber while senku still continues to read
"i just happen to stumble upon that while looking for something interesting you know! and i thought hey, how about i look at nasa's page to see if there's something wow spectacular over there but then i wouldn't understand anything since i'm not familiar with space and stars and stuff, then i saw that beautiful image of space! i didn't think it was a big deal until after i—sdgsfgdf" senku covered your mouth with his hand, successfully cutting you off
"this is some advance astrology, y/n!"
"ohh is it to your satisfactory, senku-sensei?" you playfully question with eyebrows wriggling like a worm after pulling his hand off your mouth
his eyes were twinkling almost as bright as the stars from the image that the james webb space telescope captured and you think he's so cute!
"ten billion percent!" he exclaimed in happiness and you can't help but gush at how he looks like he just successfully launched a miniature (bigger than what he made in middle school) rocket ship
your lips curl as you see him strut towards his desk to open his laptop, "come here, y/n! i'll teach you in layman's terms the beauty of space!"
it doesn't matter if he spends hours and hours long when talking about science. you don't really care as long as he's enjoying it to his heart's content. taiju, yuzuriha, the science club members, and you have all gone through the lectures of senku-sensei
the moment you saw those pictures from nasa, you immediately ran towards the genius scientist knowing how he would very much love it. you knew how his face would light up like a christmas tree. you knew yet seeing it in person never fails to make your heart skip a beat
