Summary
Getting the hell away from the mess she’d made was Mayson’s intended travel plan. Instead, she got abducted by monsters, shipwrecked with some weirdos, and is now saddled with the responsibility of reviving a civilization or two. As weird as things are, at least it’s work she feels useful doing, and those Children of Hargon cultists hardly feel like a threat with her new friend Malroth watching her back. As long as he’s around, Mayson is confident things will go smoothly... If she can keep herself from getting too fond of him, that is.

Riku looked like he'd been punched in the gut. His face had lost all color, emerald eyes burning with the obvious horror on his face. Sora had never in his entire sixteen years seen Riku like that. Not when Sora had broken his ankle or when Riku had slipped the knife while cooking and hit a pinky— not when Sora closed that door with Riku behind it, or when Sora hopped onto the wave of keyblades despite Riku's harried yell following him— never.

They raid his bedroom, dumping all of the skirts and dresses he never wore in a box they'll drop at the mayor's house to be donated later.
