Summary
She hopes her hair covers her eyes enough to hide her shameless staring. Because now that her mind’s wandered to things that wouldn’t be allowed in Toriel’s church, her eyes are wandering too. Why the fuck is their outfit so tight in the Dark World? Is the Dark World specifically out to get Susie, by making Kris look so distractingly hot that she can’t focus?
---
Susie is bored in the Dark World thanks to the worst boat ride in existence, and finds herself focusing on Kris. Luckily they have 20 minutes without Ralsei, which is plenty of time to satisfy her fixation on them and their bodysuit that leaves little to the imagination.

Summary
It was weird. She could feel the figure wiggling against either side, but not the bottom. Like whatever was stuck inside it was floating. And it was warm against her scales, almost hot. Through the cracks she’d made in the paper mâché, she kept spotting flickers of red, like blood.
...Maybe it really WAS a severed hand.
Susie raised an eyebrow, then grinned. What if she took a quick peek before Noelle got back? Just so she’d know how to keep a hold on it. (And not at all because the curiosity was driving her nuts.)
She tipped the figure back, yawning it open against her palm like a clam shell. Warm red light washed over the lines on her skin, brighter than ever, and the steady thumping got louder. And louder. And brighter. And louder. And brighter. And...
And then, all at once, a bright red SOUL toppled out and started floating in Susie’s hand.

Summary
Well.
They supposed the voice had warned them that there’d be only one ending--no matter the save file, no matter the choices made, no matter the secrets gathered.
But they had to admit, three timelines in one birdcage was... a bit cramped.
The Neutral Voice huffed a sigh as their heart drifted, bumping against thin metal bars in the dark. “Well, then. Guess there’s nothing to do now but wait for next year. Don’t suppose any of you brought a magazine?”
OR: stuck waiting for Chapter 5, three save files compare their very different thoughts and experiences.

Summary
While sorting her thoughts out at Hometown's sad excuse for a beach, Susie is distracted from fantasizing about beating up the Knight by a certain human showing up with a new, terrifying, exciting offer.
“Susie, let’s run away.”
“Whoa-whoa-whoa, hang on, what?” Susie jolted back, but Kris grasped her hand, stronger than she’d expected from such a shrimp. Their weird long piano-player fingers squeezed against her scales, bitten nails digging against purple keratin.
She did not like the way they smiled at her. The smile looked broken, wobbling its way up either cheek towards watery eyes gone so wide Susie could trace the whites around each shrunken pupil.
“Right now. We can go anywhere, Susie. Anywhere that’s not Hometown. There’s a bus route just past the police station that runs overnight. I have money from Asriel’s drawer. We can be twenty miles south by morning.”

Summary
“Wait!” the thing cried in that familiar voice. “Lute, fucking— Wait! It’s me!”
Lute froze, the tip of her spear pressing lightly against the skin of the sinner’s throat.
It stared up at her with wide, horrified, hopeful yellow eyes. Now that she actually looked, she couldn’t deny that she would have known them in any lifetime. The shape of his face was the same. The hair was the same. The voice was the same. But—
The creature before her had one more eye than it should have. It had horns growing out of its head — the same shape that the ones on his helmet had been, but real in a way that no angel’s were. Knives grew from the tips of its fingers, impossible to be covered even by the gloves it wore.
The thing in front of her was undoubtedly a demon.
Adam had been an angel.
Adam was dead.

Or; Lute goes to hell during the next extermination seeking revenge. Instead, she gets the crisis of a lifetime.

Summary
“It wasn’t a big deal or anything, if you’re worried about that. We were just kind of friend-kissing.”
“Susie, I don’t know what friend-kissing is supposed to be,” Noelle said.
“It’s like. You know,” Susie stumbled, “like if you need to figure out how to kiss or whatever and you got somebody to help you out—and that guy helps you get better at it, it’s like—you know!”
“I-I do?”
“Yeah,” she stressed, “you and Kris used to do it all the time!”
Or, Kris decides flirting lessons aren’t all that bad of an idea. Consequences? What consequences?

Summary
The fire inside her is burning again, and she doesn’t ever want it to stop. Brighter than a blaze or an explosion, the sort of thing she knows she can never feel again and yet so desperately wants to. Their lips taste like apples. She wants more. Their hands slide up to her neck and card through her hair. She wants more. She wants more.
The pain and the soreness and the guilt don’t register for a long, long time. It’s just her and Kris, the desk and the classroom and the world itself out of sight and out of mind.
This must be what hatred feels like.
Susie tries very, very hard to figure out how exactly she feels about Kris Dreemurr.

Summary
Susie is holding hands with a boy. Noelle wonders why she’s dreaming about this.
Susie falls to her knees and clutches Kris’ limp body and she keeps holding hands with the boy, the boy that looks like Kris’ brother. Noelle thinks absently that this is a scarier dream than she’s ever had, and that Kris’ blood is matting in Susie’s hair as she tries to find their heartbeat.
Then Susie stands up, and Noelle knows with absolute certainty that Susie is going to kill her. Kris’ face reflects in Susie’s axe as she swings it back, and in the split second before Noelle blacks out, there is still an expression lingering on their face. Relief.
or; what if Noelle stepped off the switch in snowgrave.

Summary
Really, Kris is surprised at how long it took for them to get a proper bully — they were the only human in a fully monster community. The empathy of monsters is well known to be lacking in regard to humans, especially in small towns that tend to run high with prejudice.

Summary
Toriel bought them a stepstool when they were old enough to cook, but still young enough to not know how embarrassing the need for one is. Their current favorite method of reaching the top shelf is to climb on top of the counter and stand as they gather what they need.
Which is how Susie finds Kris when she enters the kitchen.

Summary
"“I want to teach you,” they whisper, somewhere between a secret and a plea. At some point their hands had found one of Susie's. They run their thumbs across her knuckles, careful to skip over regions where they’re beginning to scab. They weave and unweave their fingers together with no regard for the sudden clamminess Susie feels wash over her entire body."

“Please, Noelle, there’s no need to be worried about me,” he says confidently. “As if a little ice could keep me down for long.”
Noelle freezes. Kris’ neutral expression flickers.
Susie raises an eyebrow. “Ice?” she asks. “What… is that the scientific way of saying you were sick?”

Summary
“Kris, now that you’ve said hello to these two, let’s get back to our date,” Berdly urges, reaching out to tug at their arm. Kris holds onto the table for dear life.
“Date?” Susie spits. “Look, I don’t know how the hell you got that idea, but Kris would never go on a date with you!”
Noelle buries her face in her hands. “I’m so stupid…”
Susie doesn't care if Kris decides to go to the festival with Berdly and not her. She isn't jealous at all. She has no idea why seeing them together makes her want to punch something.
