“Byeee Hitohitoo!” Hitomi pushed her older brother out of their shared room,
“This is my room too, you know I have the right to-“ Hitomi slammed the door on him.
“Sorry about that, Komi-san.” She turned to look at Komi who was sitting seiza on the ground. Komi just looked at Hitomi and nodded.
On the other side of the door, Hitohito sat on the floor criss-crossing thinking I hope my sister doesn't scare Komi-san away.
“Soo.. Komi-san…” Komi, who was obviously zoned out, quickly looked at Hitomi attentively (and stiffly) as she walked to sit in front of her. “I hear that you and my older brother are dating now.”
Didn’t she already find out earlier with my mom? Hitohito felt guilty for being nosy and listening to their conversation through the door, but he felt the need to know what they were talking about.
“Is that true?”
Komi looked Hitomi in the eyes, then down to the floor. “Y-yes…” Her face was heating up.
“How much do you love him?” Hitomi asked with a very obvious smirk on her face.
Komi flinched, still looking at the ground she replied with a very quiet “I love him a lot.”
Hitohito, still eavesdropping, didn't hear Komi's reply because of how quiet she was. He prayed that she did respond but he couldn’t hear it (of course he was right but he didn’t know).
“How long have you liked him for?”
This feels like more of an interrogation than a ‘Girls Talk’ Hitohito thought to himself, the real reason Hitomi was pushing him out of their shared room was because she wanted to have a ‘Girls Talk’ with Komi.
“For…” Komi thought for a second. “For a while now.” She finally got the courage to sit up straight and look Hitomi in the eyes.
Hitomi nodded.
It’s silent?! Why did they go silent?! Hitohito started panicking and he had the urge to burst through the door, but luckily he didn’t.
The real reason it was silent was because Komi had her mouth slightly opened, she wanted to say something and Hitomi could tell, so she waited patiently.
“D-do.. Do you know how long Tadano-kun liked me ?”
What. WHAAAT?!?? Hitohito blushed, his face was almost boiling hot. Komi-san really wants to know how long I liked her for? Shecould've just asked me!
“My big stupid brother liked you for a while. He was just too stupid to realize it.” Hitomi replied with an almost annoyed tone.
“I see…” Hitomi saw Komi's face redden a bit and her eyes widen.
“Okay! Girl talk is over now!” Hitomi proudly announced. Komi wanted to ask why so quickly she ended it but before she knew it she was being pushed to the door. “Now you and my brother can go be lovey- dovey somewhere else.” Hitomi opened the door, she saw Hitohito sitting criss-cross on the floor with his back facing the door.
He quickly stood up and faced both of the girls, “I swear! I didn’t hear anything!” He was waving his arms in front of them like a crazy man.
“You’re lying.” Hitomi said with her arms crossed in front of her.
“Whaaat? No I’m not hahaaa…”
“You suck at lying…” Hitomi turned to look at Komi. “If my stupid big brother ever does anything to you that hurts you, just come to me and I’ll be sure to take care of it.”
Komi stared blankly at Hitomi. “O-okay… I’m sure I won't need to, but thank you for letting me know.”
Hitohito smiled, she’s made a lot of progress, he thought, she can now have some what conversations with my dumb sister who can be too energetic sometimes…
“BYEE!!!” Hitomi gently pushed Komi out the door, leaving Komi and Hitohito in the hallway alone.

“Want something to eat?” Hitohito offered. Komi nodded.
