Summary
The palace of Fourth Prince Tserriednich is a lonely thing, tucked away into the mountains. It's been in the Hui Guo Rou family since before they could boast the title of royalty. Many of the Prince's ancestors lost their lives in its halls, from illness and poison and the horrible things that infect the bloodlines of those on the throne.
Theta, who has moved from more humble homesteads to protect the man who owns these rotting halls, can see very much the same horror in him. As the shadow of the Black Whale eclipses the both of them, there are things to be revealed in him.
