“I hurt myself.”
It’s dark in the room they’re sharing during the trip. Seonghwa can’t see him, and he can’t see Seonghwa, lying on the other single bed only a couple of meters away. Hongjoong remains still, quiet, pretending he’s asleep. Sometimes he prefers not to know what goes on with Seonghwa, he has his own issues and Hongjoong can barely deal with his own, and Seonghwa’s issues are… odd. But Seonghwa knows him too well to believe he’s asleep. He has a sixth sense that alerts him of every one of Hongjoong’s thoughts, feelings, concerns, he knows when Hongjoong’s hungry, when he’s tired, when he’s sad. It’s unnerving.
