   Eddie never liked parties.

   But, because he was never invited to any that didn’t involve jocks who wanted to get high and dumb pranks which he was more than once the sole victim..This is why he privileged D&D as his own kind of party, one where he didn’t need to fit in or pretend not to be affected by his “weirdness”.
