Summary
Ryan Wilder moved to Freeland to get away from her past and live a life of service through faith. She and her older brother Luke were abandoned by their mother, Cora after their father was killed. In Freeland, Ryan joins The Healing Place, a progressive and inclusive faith community that is led by Reverend Marquis Jet.
Sophie Moore left Freeland and moved to National City with dreams of becoming a model. When something disastrous happens, Sophie finds herself back in Freeland a guinea pig in a new alternative to the parole program-- the Criminalised People Reintegration Program.
Ryan is assigned the role of Sophie's mentor in the three-month program. If they can suspend judgment of each other long enough, they may prove the program works and find love along the way.
