Summary
Günter used to proudly announce that only pain could indicate effort and growth. Domi has since tried to unlearn that, but he doesn’t hate pain. It is an intimate experience for the body. When it stays for a long time though, he sometimes forgets how it feels to be without it, and when it eventually leaves, he imagines that it’s still there - an invisible friend that lives in his joints, muscles and heart.
