   Summary

   Felix took a deep breath, Dimitri’s head lifting as his chest heaved. Immediately, alarm bells went off in Dimitri’s head and he sat up to look at Felix. This wasn’t how this normally went. Normally, there was no hesitation, just a simple “of course,” maybe a kiss on the forehead, and they went on with their day. The breath that Felix had just inhaled hung thickly in the air as Dimitri waited, palms sweating.

   “Dimitri…you know I love you, right?” Dimitri nodded. “I…can’t keep doing this.” Felix spoke slowly, thinking through each word, trying to figure out how to deliver this blow as gently as possible.
