   Summary

   Feng Xin rolled his eyes at the pounding on his palace door. He could already assume who it was–the only person who would pound on his palace door. He threw the door open with an annoyed sigh.

    

   “What the fuck d-” He started to yell but trailed off when he saw Mu Qing's tear streaked face. His eyes widened in shock and concern.

    

   “Fucking- Fuck- Shit, sorry. Fuck, I- I don’t know why I’m here.” Mu Qing barely gasped out. It came out in a whisper. He had no idea how he ended up here, much less why. “I- I’ll be going now.” 

    

   “No, wait-” Feng Xin reached out and grabbed his wrist before he could walk away. Mu Qing’s eyes widened at this before a sob violently left his body.
