Chapter Text
3rd Person Narrative:
Louis noticed. He noticed in the past few weeks. He noticed your internal struggle to get out of bed. He noticed that you started crying more even after you seemed happy a moment ago. Louis could tell you were becoming depressed. He could see the sparkle in your eyes start to fade. He could see the way you felt emotionally and mentally drained after going to shower. He especially noticed when you started cleaning more to keep your mind from drifting but when he found you on the bathroom floor crying even though you were singing moments prior. But now he knew. You had lost interest and hope in everything. Louis noticed. You had begun eating less proportions. Not because you wanted to starve, but because even food didn’t interest you anymore. He knew. You didn’t want to go out anymore. If friends invited you out, you always hoped it would be 30 minutes there and back. You lost interest in everything. And you felt alone even though Louis was right there. Louis wanted to help, he had seen the lads go through this, he had been through it, but it was harder watching you slowly burn out into this. It wasn’t you. But he knew it wasn’t your fault. Depression is a real thing and he wanted you to realize that no matter what he would be there for you. So when you stopped getting out of bed, Louis would get back in and hold you for hours never saying a word because even being held made you feel a tiny bit of something. He started bringing meals up so he could be sure you at least tried to eat. He always ate with you, even in silence because he knew the silence made you feel more than talking did. Louis offered to take you to a therapist not because you’re crazy but because he wants to try to help. Louis knew you didn’t want there to be ‘something wrong with you’ but Louis assured you that there wasn’t. Louis just didn’t want to see anything bad happen to you because he didn’t try. There’s nothing wrong with improvement. That’s why he still has vocal lessons. That’s why he still has harry teach him to cook. And if you felt like Counseling made you crazy then he would go to. Louis made you feel like you did matter even if it was for a small second that you had a glimmer of hope. The scariest part for you is to fall back into your suicidal thoughts like when you were depressed years back. How would you explain that 'hey, I have depression too? It most only be a woman thing in the family.’ to your parents? Louis reassured you though that they want to support you through this too. That they love you just as much as he does. Louis is your reminder that even though everything is so overwhelming it hurts to think, that there is going to be hope and love through it all only because you have Louis.
