Chapter Text

Hello readers. I am writing a Skylanders story. If you guys remember that game. I only own the OC.

Let's begin

Ahh. It is a great day here in the Woods residents.

"CODY!!! GET UP AND MAKE US BREAKFAST!!!"

Or so it seems. On top of a hill lies a huge house. However, high in the attic, waking up in an old bed is none other than Cody Woods. He wakes up, groaning. He has short black hair with blue eyes. Getting off the bed, little Cody rubs his face before leaving the attic. Walking downstairs, the boy makes his way to the kitchen to get started on breakfast.

How did this happen led to him? Six months, when Cody had turn 12 years old, his mother unexpectedly died while returning home. Cody was devastated by this. His father is a professional climber. He had taken his son ice climbing at least a few times before dropping the bomb: He's got married again.

He had recently married a woman who vice president of Victoria's Secret and also has a daughter who wants to be like her mother. However, when they meet Cody, they treated him with disrespect. Her daughter, Roxanne, manage to kick the poor boy out of him room and took over, forcing him to live in the attic. She also brought her cat, named Twinkle, who hates Cody more than the owners.

It also got worse that his father had left with his crew to go to Nepal. A few days later, Cody heard on the news that a massive avalanche stroke the crew. He fears that his father is dead. Now his step mother, Brianna, has taken over the house with an iron fist. With all the money, Brianna and Roxanne are the masters of the house. For them it's a paradise, but for Cody.... it's a prison.

"Cody! What's taking so long?! You better make sure those eggs are perfect!" Brianna shouted as she appears in her robe.

"And I don't want any burnt on my pancakes!" Roxanne said.

"Yes." Cody said as he makes the pancakes.

"Yes what?" Brianna said as she made coffee for her and her daughter.

"Yes your grace." Cody said.

As he makes the breakfast, the two spoiled women just smirk at him.

"Poor Cody Wody. He thinks he has fortune but we have taken it away," Roxanne said.

"And the best part is that daddy is away, we are in control." Brianna said.

Cody then arrives and delivers the breakfast, "Here you go, your highness."

Roxanne is a woman in her mid 30s with blonde hair with green eyes. Roxanne has brunette hair and blue eyes. The two inspect the food, making sure Cody did not mess up. Taking a bite, they look at him.

"Hmm. Not bad. Not bad at all." Brianna said.

"I agree." Roxanne said.

"You did good, Cody. You can have what left of it." The step mother said.

After breakfast, Cody dresses up and heads for school . It is the last day of school and Summer is about to begin. Cody did at least have a few friends to keep in company: Amy and Tim.

Amy is a kind of friend who treats Cody like is she is his sister. She wears glasses, and blue eyes and short red hair.

Tim is a good friend as well. He has black hair and brown eyes.

"Well guys, this is it. The last day before summer vacation." Cody said to his friends.

"It sure is, man." Tim said.

"What about your father?" Amy asks.

Cody looks at his friends before sighing, "I wish... I wish he is here."

"Move it or lose it, losers"

The trio turn to see Kyle, Frank, and Scott.

"The Bully Trio." Cody muttered.

Klye approaches Cody, "Enjoy your last minutes, Cody. Cause you will be hunted by us for the next three months." Kyle said before shoving Cody to the ground, passing his friends.

Amy and Tim helped Cody up.

"One day karma will come for you, Kyle." He said.

Later on after school, Cody had enter the house when Brianna and Roxanne approach him, all dressed up, carrying purses.

"Alright you brat, Roxanne and I are going out. So I want this house speck and clean because there is a gathering tonight.. Brianna said.

"And if you screwed up, its off to the freezer room for the rest of the night" Roxanne said.

The two leave the house in their car and Cody sighs before getting to work. He mops the floor, dusts the drawers, clean the windows, washes the dishes, heck even clean the bedroom. It was a nightmare for the poor lad.

Later in the evening, the party is in full swing, Brianna greeted the guests including the executives.

"It is so nice to see you, sir." Brianna said to the president.

"Yes, Brianna. And this is a marvelous party." The president said.

All of a sudden, Twinkle runs with Cody chasing him.

"Twinkle, stop!!" He shouted before he bumps into the president and he tumbles smashing into the food table, knocking over the glass cup pyramid, destroying it.

The president gets gets up before seeing Cody who grabbed the cat.

"Look what you did you little jerk!" The president said to Cody and he looks at everyone who stared back at him.

"Cody, you clean this mess when this party is over. Go to your room, young man." Roxanne said.

"Fine, mother." He said.

Cody leaves and goes to his room, slamming the door shut. Cody looks out the window at the night sky before shedding tears. He's never going to see his father again.

He sees a shooting star before closing his eyes.

"I wish there is a way for me to escape this. Help me find my father with some guardians that will protect me." Cody said.

As Cody goes to his bed, not far from his house, deep in the woods, a deer is eating some grass when a circle made of light appears, scaring the animal off. Then coming out of the portal were a handful, figures. They are the greatest warriors of all time: The Skylanders.

The Skylanders consists of Spyro, Cynder, Gill Grunt, Stealth Elf, Whisper Elf, Blades, Trigger Happy, Terrafin, Night Shift, Punk Shock, Roller Brawl, Ignitor, Hot Dog, Drobot, Sprocket, Magna Charge, Star Strike, Wash Buckler, and Crypt King.

"Hey, Spyro, where are we?" Gill Grunt asks.

"I do believe we are here on Earth, land of the Portal Masters." Spyro replied.

Indeed they are here on Earth, but soon they will come face to face with the boy.

Chapter Text

Chapter 2

It is around midnight, and the party still goes on downstairs while poor Cody has trouble sleeping. He gets up before deciding,

"I'm leaving when they fall asleep. I'm going to find my father." He declared.

So with that, Cody starts packing stuff. He grabs some clothes, some food and beverages, his wallet full of money, his passport, even his cell phone and laptop. He knows that Brianna and Roxanne would find out, so he uses his pillows and a soccer ball as a dummy to disguise. With that he manages to grab a small portrait of him, his real mother and his father. He takes the picture out and puts it in his pocket.

"Father, I'm on my way." Cody said before taking off.

He leaves the attic before heading down stairs. Reaching down, he is surprised to see the guests are still having a good time. He even sees a couple making out in front of him. Even music was playing loud.

[Soundtrack: Let's get it started Black Eyed Peas]

"Whooo!!!!" Roxanne shouted, drinking a bottle of champagne.

Cody then sees Brianna, with a half cup of wine, surprisingly drunk.

"Man, Mr President. *hic* "This is a nice party." She said, while trying to gain balance.

"Man, you're right. How about I quit and give you my spot." The president said who is also drunk.

"Whoopee! I'm the queen! *belch*" With that she collapses to a couch.

Cody sees Roxanne being dry humped by a man who was drunk.

"Oh yeah baby. Right there!" Roxanne said, moaning.

Cody smirks before going back upstairs and lock the door. He then opens the window but he knew that it is three stories down. Cody looks around before smiling. He goes to a box and opens it up showing a long rope.

Tying the rope to the column of the house, Cody throws the rope all the way down to the ground. Placing his large book bag, he look around the attic one last time.

"Goodbye." He said.

Cody steels himself and begins climbing down the rope. Slowly, he descends down from the attic to the second floor. He sees the window that leads to Roxanne's bedroom. He moves as fast as he goes even the weight of the book bag dragged him down. When he passes the window, he hears the door burst open and giggling. Then he hears the bed creaking. Cody keeps climbing down before reaching to the first floor. He sees the party still going on even after midnight. He carefully moves down more passing the window with the guests. He was lucky that no one saw him as he lands on the grass. Cody may be out of the house, but he still has has one more obstacle: the front gate.

The gate can only open for cars. He sees one stopping at the gate and makes a run for it. The gate opens and the car drives out. Cody quickly follows it and pass through the gate. Cody is finally free.

That is when thundering was heard and Cody sees storm clouds approaching. He looks around and sees the woods before heading out. He moves through the woods as light rain starts to fall. After at least an half an hour, Cody stops to take a rest. He sits on a log to take a breath. Then he hears rustling, startling him.

"Whose there?" Cody asks.

"Hehehe." Said a female voice.

"Roxanne? I thought you were at the party?" Cody asks as he looks around.

Hidden in the bush, a pair of white eyes are shown before giggling again.

"Hello? Is anyone there?!" Cody shouted. When he turn around, he comes face to face to a weird creature.

"Boo!" She said.

"Aaah!!" Cody shouted before trip backwards and he falls to the ground, knocked out.

Chapter Text

Groaning in pain, Cody slowly opens his eyes. He looks around and sees that he is in a large tent.

"Hey there. You're finally awake." A voice said to him.

When Cody turn to the person, he slightly gasp. In front of him is a purple dragon who is his size with horns. He backs up in shocked.

"Hey, hey. Whoa! Easy. I'm not gonna hurt you." He said, putting a paw on Cody's leg.
Cody breathes for a bit before calming down. He hadn't seen a dragon before. He have read stories about them. Now he sees one up close.

"You're.... You're a dragon." Cody said in awe.

"Hehe. That's what every Portal Masters said. Anyway, I'm Spyro. " The now named Spyro said, offering a paw as a handshake. Cody reaches and shakes his paw.

"I'm Cody. Cody Woods." Cody said to Spyro.

"Come on, Cody. It's time to meet the others. " Spyro said.

"Others?" Cody asked.

Spyro leads Cody out of the tent and it is surprised to see more creatures sitting by a campfire. He sees an Elf with her mouth covered, a knight with flames in its armor, a hamster or gremlin with two pistols made of gold, a shark with arms and legs, a robot dragon, a armored warrior with three eyes, wielding a sword made out of crystal and so forth.

"Wow. This is amazing. " Cody said.

"Hey, look the boy is awake." The one in a hood said, with glowing eyes.

The group gathers around Cody and Spyro .

"Uhh, hi there." The boy said, waving awkwardly.

"Cody, we are know as the Skylanders." Spyro introduced, "That's Cynder, Gill Grunt, Stealth Elf, Whisper Elf, Blades, Trigger Happy, Terrafin, Night Shift, Punk Shock, Ignitor, Hot Dog, Drobot, Magna Charge, Star Strike, Wash Buckler, & Krypt King."

"Hello, guys." Cody said waving at them.

"Hello, Cody." Most of the Skylanders said.

"Hey, Stealth Elf, where's Roller Brawl?" Spyro asks the elf.

"She's making sure that we are hidden from public eye." Stealth Elf replied.

"Hey, guys. I'm back."

When Cody look ups to see, he was entranced. This girl has pale skin, beautiful glowing pink eyes, long pink hair tied to a ponytail, roller skates with razor sharp saw blades, razor sharp claws for gauntlets, a helmet in the shape of a skull, a long sleeve pink shirt, gloves, and purple pants.

"Wow..." Cody said in awe.

"Roller Brawl, are we clear?" Spyro asked.

"All clear." Roller Brawl replied as she approaches the others. She then sees Cody, "Well, what do we have here?"

"This is Cody Woods." Spyro replied.

Roller Brawl skates towards Cody backs up slightly, "You're a cute human are you?"

Cody blushes as he trips and sits on a log. Roller Brawl stops in front of him with her hands on her hips. She then grins showing her teeth and her fangs.

"You're.... You're..." Cody stuttering.

"A vampire? My fangs are a dead giveaway." Roller Brawl said.

She sits next to Cody, very close to him. Soon Spyro and the others sat around the campfire.

"So, Spyro, where did you guys come from?" Cody asks.

"We came from a world call Skylands" Spyro answered, "A places were magic is everywhere."

"How did you guys ended up here?" Cody asks Spyro.

"Master Eon had gather us because he heard your wish. So he hand pick a few of us and we were sent here." Spyro explained.

"Do you live here?" Wash Buckler asks Cody.

"No. I used to lived at home until my "step mother" and her bratty daughter took over the place. Roxanne kicked my out of my own bedroom!" Cody replied nearly shedding tears.

"Oh you poor thing." Stealth Elf said as she comforts the human child.

"What happened to your parents?" Star Strike asks.

"My mother died and my father.... I don't know if my father is alive. He's a famous expedition man. His last report was in Nepal. I do believe he's is alive." Cody said.

"If your father is alive, are you going to find him?" Ignitor asks.

"I will *yawns*. Right now. I'm so tired." Cody said as he feels sleepy.

"You should sleep. We'll set out to tomorrow morning." Spyro said.

"Thanks, you guys. I really appreciate." Cody said.

"I'll keep him company." Roller Brawl said.

"Good idea, Roll." Spyro said.

Cody goes to the tent and prepare to go to sleep when Roller Brawl enters. She takes off her helmet, her roller skates and her gloves.

"Hey. If you don't mind if I can sleep with you?" Roller Brawl asks Cody.

"Umm.... sure." Cody said as the Undead Skylander who grins happily, "So, um. Do you think I'm cute?"

"You are, Cody. You are the most indeed." Roller Brawl replied.

"Umm. Goodnight, Roll." The boy closes his eyes.

"Goodnight... Cody." Roll said as she too falls asleep.

(The next morning)

In the Woods' residence, Brianna slowly wakes up, groaning getting a huge headache.

"Ugh. Man what a party." She said before looking around the house to see that it is a mess. "Cody! Get up and grab the cleaning tools! You got a lot of cleaning to do, young man!" However, there is nothing but silence. "Cody, did you hear me?!" Again silence. Furious Brianna gets up to go up stairs. "That little brat."

She goes to Cody's room before opening up to see her daughter sleeping with the man from the party last night.

"Wake up now!" She exclaimed.

Roxanne slowly wakes up before she sees her mother. She moves the blanket before her mother gets a bit disgusted.

"Get your ass up and get dressed! Don't tell you had sex!" Her mother said.

"No mother. We were drunk! Aren't we?!" Roxanne said to the man who slowly wakes up.

"What?" He said, rubbing his face.

"Get your things and get out!" Brianna said to the man who quickly grabs his thing before leaving.

"Call me, sweetheart!" Roxanne said.

"And you get dressed and grab that little brat!" Brianna demand as she leaves to go to the kitchen.

Roxanne gets out of bed before getting dress. Her cat, Twinkle, approaches before meowing.

"I know, Twinkle. Cody will clean up both the house and your litter box." Roxanne said. She leaves the room to go upstairs. When she reaches the door leading the attic. She pounds on the door.

"Cody, get up and start cleaning!" Roxanne demanded.However there is no response, "Do you even hear me?!" She pounds on the door to try to wake Cody up, "Mother! Cody is not waking up!"

She waits for her mother to appear.

"He's not responding."

"Well see about that." Brianna said before she pulls out a key and unlocks the door. She opens before seeing the bed. She goes to the bed before pulling the shees off. She is startled to find a dummy there.

"Cody!" She shouted.

"Mother, look!" Roxanne said pointing to the rope that was hooked to the bed. The girls look to see the rope reach to the bottom.

"CODY!!!!"

Furious, Brianna heads back downstairs.

"That little brat has escaped. Probably going to look for his father. He is dead and I will bring him back." She goes to her cellphone before dialing.

"9-1-1. What's your emergency?" A voice said on the other line.

(Meanwhile with Cody and the Skylanders)

Cody slowly opens his eyes before seeing Roller Brawl who was sleeping. She then opens her eyes before seeing Cody.

"Good morning, cutie. Sleep well?" Roller Brawl asks Cody as she rubs Cody's hair.

"Uh... yeah. I actually felt a bit great. I think I have never slept better in my life." Cody said with made the Undead Skylander giggle.

From the top of a tree, Stealth Elf looks around and sees Cody'smansion. Then she sees police cars and cops. She also notices a few of them with K9s.

"That's not good." She said before she climbs down the tree to warn them.

At the bottom, Cody and Roller Brawl emerge from the tent to see the other Skylanders.

"Morning, everyone." Cody said.

"Good morning, Cody." Spyro said.

"I did good last night. Right now, I need to find out if my father is alive." Cody said.

"How would you find him?" Sprocket asks.

Cody goes to his bag and pulls out his laptop. Some of the Skylanders gather around him as he types up some data.

"What craftsmanship your device is making," Ignitor said.

"Um. It's a laptop and... bingo!" Cody said. "His last message is pinpointed... here." He points to the location. "And we are here, Washington DC. We need to get to the train station that should take us to New York. From there we take a flight to London, and then to Paris. From there we should find our way through Europe and on to India."

"It is a long journey, Portal Master." Krypt King said.

Stealth Elf then approaches the group.

"We got a problem. That mansion is surrounded by law enforcement." She informed.

"Oh no. Brianna must have known that I've escaped." Cody said as he quickly put his laptop away and grab his bag.

"Drobot, did you get the data?" Spyro ask the robot dragon.

"Data collected. Train station location: 20 miles northwest." Drobot informed.

Then dogs are heard barking meaning K9 units are hunting them.

"We need to go. Now!" Spyro said.

Cody takes a look at his home for one last time before he turns around and takes off. Roller Brawl skates next to Cody as the group set off to search for Cody's father.

Chapter Text

Skylanders: Mission Earth

Chapter 4

The adventure begins for little Cody. He sets off to find his father who may still be alive. Also, what's best is that a group of new beings known as the Skylanders had arrived to be guardians for the boy. However, his wicked step-mother and daughter, found out and with the aid of the law enforcement, they are hunting the boy down. The group managed to get a head start by leaving immediately. They are walking through the forest, trying to find a way to town.

"So, Cody, your father. Who is he?" Spyro asks the boy.

"Well, my father is one of the greatest adventurers. He had gone to different countries doing rock climbing." Cody replied.

"Rock climbing, eh? That guy won't owe me five dollars" Terrafin said.

"What about your mother?" Star Strike asks which made Cody sad.

"She died a few months ago. She was caring and loved." He said, shedding a tear.

"Aww, you poor thing." Stealth Elf said, as she goes and comforts him.

"After that, my dad remarried to Brianna. She's the vice president of Victoria's Secret. And she has a daughter."

"That's not that bad." Gill Grunt said.

"No! That's worse! They treat me like a slave!" Cody shouted.

Most of the Skylanders gasps in shock.

"What did they do to you?" Cynder asks.

"Brianna had kicked my out of my room and makes me live in the attic. Roxanne took that opportunity to move into my own bedroom! They forced me to clean the whole house and do every chores. My life was a living nightmare."

"How horrible!" Whisper Elf says.

"What kind of woman she is anyway?!" Hot Dog questions.

"It has been at least a few months. Only people who accompany me were my friends from school, Tim and Amy. One day, my father was supposed to come home from his expedition in Nepal, but he never came back." Cody said.

"You mean he's dead?" Cynder asks.

"No. I refuse to believe that. I know he's alive and I will find him." Cody said with determination.

"Then we will help you, lad. For the glory of Skylands!" Ignitor said, raising his flaming axe in the air.

"And we will protect you from danger." Terrafin said doing some punches in the air.

They reach to a roadway which leads them to town. The group sees cars going back and forth down the road. Cody sees the town up ahead.

"We'll follow those cars to town and find the train station." Cody said.

"We must move quickly, the police are on the move." Hot Dog said as his ear twitches.

"Then let's go." Spyro said.

The group carefully trek along the road while not getting spotted by police. All of a sudden, loud music was heard as Cody turns to see a black Ford 4x4 truck zooming and recognizes the three occupants: Kyle, Frank, and Scott.

"Not them again." He muttered.

"Who are they?" Cynder asks.

"The Bully Trio. They're probably looking for me since this is the first day of summer." Cody said.

"I won't let any happen to you, Cody. I promise." Roller Brawl said.

Once the truck passes, Cody and the Skylanders make their move. They approached the town and make their way for the train station. Then his cellphone rings.

"What is that noise?" Star Strike asks.

"Someone's calling me." Cody replied before answering, "Hello?"

"Cody?" A familiar voice spoke on the other end.

"Tim! Thank goodness. I thought it was my step mother." Cody asks.

"What are you doing? Where are you?" Tim asks.

"I'm heading out to find my father. He's still alive. I know it." Cody said.

"Are you nuts?! Your step mother would be upset and she's has cops all over town." Tim said.

"I'm not going alone. I have friends and are you are Amy are coming?" Cody asks.

He waits for a response from his friend before looking at his new friends. He is willing to find his father.

"Alright, Cody. You convinced me. Head the warehouse near the station. Give us a half hour of preparation." Tim said.

"Okay. See ya" Cody said before hanging up. He then turns to Spyro and the Skylanders, "We're gonna head for the warehouse near the train station. Tim and Amy are coming with us."

"Sweet! More portal masters." Terrafin said.

All of a sudden, one of the police cars approaches before Cody pulls back. It flashes it lights before letting off a few whoops on the sirens.

"Go go go!" Cody runs as the cop exits the cruiser and see the boy.

"Hey you stop!" He shouted as runs after the boy. That is when a gush of water spurts out and hits the cop. He gets thrown to the ground. Gil Grunt had shot his water cannon at the cop.

"Gill, you just assaulted a police officer." Cody said.

"Let's go!" Spyro said.

They make a run for the warehouse as the cop calls for back up. They cross the street before they see two more cop cars closing in.

"We got em!" Punk Shock said as she and Gill Grunt team up. First, Gill Grunt shoots water on the road as the cop cars closed in.

"It's time for these guys to give them a shocking surprise!" Punk Shock said as she fire her crossbow and the electric arrow strikes the water. Just as the cops drive across the large pond, the arrow strikes the water and the entire water gets electricity. The cop cars get caught and they spin out of control before stopping. All of the electronics on the vehicle shut down immediately.

"Haha!" Punk Shock said while grinning.

"There's the warehouse up ahead!" Cody said. He was about to reach for the building when the black truck stops in front of him.

"Well well well. If it isn't Cody." Kyle said.

"Get out of my way!" Cody shouted.

The Bully trio gets out of their truck and they tackled him to the ground. They started to beat him up.

"Hey!"

They stop to see weird beings in front of them. Cody looks before smiling.

"Beating on a child was a bad move." Krypt King said, pointing his large sword at the bullies.

"Who are you?!" Scott demanded.

Magna Charge jumps on a rock before aiming his blaster at them.

"We are Cody's guardians." He replied.

Terrafin emerges from the ground scaring the bullies.

"You better pick on someone your own size!" He said, as he assumed a fighting pose.

Spyro and Cynder land in front of the group to confront the bullies.

"We're the Skylanders." He said.

Roller Brawl leaps in and manages to grab Cody and skates away inside the warehouse.

"She's getting away!" Frank said.

Krypt King opens his helmet and a flock of undead insects emerge before they swarm the Bully Trio. They scream while waving their arms, trying to swat the insects away. They try to go to their truck, but Krypt King and Terrafin arrived first and smash the vehicle apart, piece by piece.

"Let's get out of here!" Kyle said as he, Frank, and Scott make a run for it never to be seen again.

"We need to get to Cody." Spyro said.

"We must hurry. The police are getting closer." Stealth Elf said.

Meanwhile in the warehouse, Roller Brawl skates before stopping. Cody looks around and see that they are in an abandoned warehouse that distributes furniture. The Undead Skylander sees a couch before placing the boy down on it.

Roller sees the boy has some bruises from the beating he took. She takes off her helmet before looking at him.

"You okay?" She asks him.

"Yeah. I'm okay, Roll. Thanks for saving me." He said.

"Hehe. You're quite welcome." Roll said, while stroking Cody's cheek with her gloved hand.

The others arrived and they waited until Tim and Amy arrived. However the police arrived first and surround the entire building.

"Oh great! The cops got the whole place surrounded!" Terrafin said.

From outside, a bunch of police cars, cops, k9 units even a couple of choppers. A bunch of civilians even a couple of news people with their vans and cameras. Whisper Elf looks from a window and see a huge crowd.

"Uh, master. There's so many people including those with cameras." She said to Stealth Elf.

"Looks like the word is out. We're about to be exposed." The Life Skylander said.

"We gotta get out of here!" Punk Shock said.

Cody looks and sees a back door.

"That's our ticket out of here." He said.

"Cody! Your mommy is speaking to you." Brianna's voice said from outside.

Out in the front of the crowd, Brianna is here with her daughter. She is speaking to Cody by loudspeaker.

"You cannot run away. I know your father is dead, but your sister and I are the only ones who can take care of you." She said with "pleading" eyes. She waits for an answer from the boy.

From inside, Cody leads the Skylanders through the back entrance of the warehouse.

"Cody, if you don't come out. The police will come and get you!" The step mother said.

Roller Brawl is the last one out before Cody follows to.

"He's not coming out!" Roxanne exclaimed.

"We're going in." The captain says.

He leads the cops into the building only to find it empty.

"He's not here." One cop says.

Meanwhile, Cody and the Skylanders continue on as they finally reach to the train station.

"Cody!"

He turns to see his best friends, Tim and Amy.

"Tim! Amy! You guys made it!" He said as the three embrace each other.

"I'm glad you're bringing us along. We could not do this without you." Tim says.

"Hey, he got some new friends too!" Amy said, looking at the Skylanders.

"Wow! Who are you?" Tim asks.

"We're the Skylanders." Spyro said.

All of a sudden dogs and helicopters are heard as the police are closing in. Also the horn of the train blares out as the transportation begins moving.

"GET TO THE TRAIN!!" Cody shouted.

The group makes a run for it.

"We'll explain later! Let's go!"

They run through the station, passing through a crowd of people who move out of the way.

"Hey you stop!!" The cop shouted as a group of them arrived behind them. Cody, Tim, and Amy, reach to the area where a few trains are at.

"Oh no! Which train to New York?" Amy asks.

Trigger Happy looks and sees the train with the name New York, leaving

"There!" He shouted.

"Run!" Cody shouted as they make their way to the back of the train. They reach in and begin boarding the back of the train, one by one. Cody is about to jump in when one of the cops leaps and tackles Cody!!

"Gaaahh!!" He shouted.

"Cody!" His friends shouted.

Roller Brawl jumps down and skates towards the cop. She rams her helmet head and knocks him back, releasing Cody.

"Roller Brawl!" Cody said as he is being lifted by the Undead Skylander.

"Time to catch that train!" She said before speeding off.

"Come on! Hurry! Faster!" His friends shouted as the back of the train is getting close to the exit of the station. Cody and Roller are reaching the end and they jump off the platform and land on the back of the train.

"Alright! Yeah! That's our Undead Skylander!" The Skylanders said.

Cody was set down allowing Roller Brawl to sit next to him.

"You okay?" Roller Brawl asks Cody who nods in reply.

"You saved his life, Roller Brawl." Tim says

"So, where does this train take us?" Amy replied.

"New York." Cody replied.

Back at the Station, Brianna looks and sees the train.

"Where's that train going?" She asks the captain.

"It's heading for New York. I'll contact the NYPD." The captain says.

"No. Me and my daughter will handle this. I have friends over there who will hold him until I get there," Brianna then turns to her daughter, "Pack your bags. We're taking a little trip."

Cody and his friends are on their way to New York City.

Skylanders Mission Earth

Chapter 5

Cody, Roller Brawl and the other Skylanders are traveling north by train towards New York City. Cody has never been felt safe before in his life. With the help of his friends from school and new ones from Skylands, Cody has escaped from his step-mother's wrath and now he and the others are on one of the greatest adventures ever.

"Well guys here we go." Cody says.

The train they are riding in is traveling north towards New York City.

"How long will it take for us to get there?" Amy asks.

"Data confirms we shall be arriving in four hours and twenty minutes." Drobot informed.

"We should get there without any problem what so ever." Cody said.

"So, you guys are known as Skylanders, yes?" Tim asks.

"Yes we are, lad. We are the defenders of our world who protects yours and others from the forces of Darkness." Ignitor replied.

"It is lead by Kaos, the master of darkness. He wants to conquer our world." Spyro said.

"Kaos? Like chaos?" Amy asked in confusion.

"He is spelled Kaos. K-A-O-S" Cynder corrected.

"Okay..." Tim said while, scratching his head.

"So, if you guys are Skylanders, why would Kaos want to conquer your world?" Amy asks.

"He uses his powerful weapon: the Hydra to destroy the Core of Light. Our Portal Master, Master Eon, perished in the explosion, but he became a spirit." Spyro said.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Spyro," Cody said, "So what happened after that?"

"We called out Portal Masters who helped us fight Kaos' minions and defeated the dark portal master." Spyro replied.

"Wow, you guys sure know how to fight." Tim said.

Cody sighs when he feels an arm around him. He turns to see Roller Brawl who is comforting him.

"You okay?" Roller Brawl asks the boy.

"I am fine."

"So what happened Cody? What made you go out to find your father?" Amy ask.

"Do you guys want to know?" Cody asks them.

"What happen?" Spyro asks.

"Last night, my stepmother and her daughter hosted a party for the president of Victoria's Secret." Cody explained.

"Wait a minute! My mom was an employee who worked for Victoria's Secret." Amy said.

"Your mom?" Cynder asks.

"Yeah! She was working for that boss for 12 years! She didn't get a raise or a promotion!" Amy said angrily

"What happened after?" Hot Dog asks.

"He fired her!" Amy shouted.

"Are you serious?" Gill Grunt asked.

"No! She screwed up some paperwork that caused thousands of dollars. She didn't even receive her last paycheck!" Amy said with a bit of anger.

"How could this man do something like that?" Tim asked.

"You're not the only one. My stepmother hosted the party at my house and guess who was there? The president of that company." Cody said.

"So what happened next?" Spyro question the boy.

"My sister's stupid cat, Twinkle, run amuck and I went after her. I chaser her across the living room and bump into the president. He fell and knocked the glass cup pyramid and Brianna blamed me for it! She said I would end up in the freezer for the rest of the night!" Cody said before starts to shed a tear.

Roller Brawl hugs Cody, rubbing his head with her hand.

"What a cruel woman. No one should ever do that to someone like you." The female Undead Skylander said.

"I went to my room and I see a shooting a star to make a wish. So while the party is going on, I escaped home and end up in the woods. That is where I meet you guys"

"Was the president there?" Amy asks

"Yes, and he was drunk with Brianna. And Roxanne made out with this guy and I think they did it" Cody said.

"Oh man! If only I had a camera!" Tim said

"Hey! Who's back there?!"

"Uh oh! The train conductor is coming!" Cody said.

"We gotta hide." Whisper Elf said.

"How?" Cody asks.

Amy looks around before snapping her fingers.

"I got an idea." She said.

The conductor walks in to check the back car to find out what is going on. Looking around, the man grumbles

"Those darn kids again. Why do even people have children? Why?" He said before walking away. Once he's gone, Stealth Elf and Whisper Elf, appear.

"All clear." Stealth Elf said.

The suit cases and a trunk opens up and out comes Cody, Roller Brawl, and their friends.

"Man, that was close" Spyro said.

"You're telling me" Cynder said.

Roller Brawl jumps out of the trunk before pulling Cody out.

"Thanks, Roll." He said to her who smiles.

"Anytime, handsome" Roller Brawl said

As the group continues on, Brianna and her daughter have arrived at an private airport where people prepare a private jet.

"You really think you can get away, boy? You're wrong." Brianna said.

She and her daughter grab their belongings and boarded the plane. Then the jet fires up and heads for the runway before taking off.

The bratty mother and girl head off to grab Cody.
