"Here are your tickets, enjoy the show!" With the same bright as always smile, Marinette gave a pair of tickets to the couple in front of her.
"Thank you," the blonde guy in front of her seemed to give her a forced smile while his fate was happily (and maybe a little bit obsessively) clutching his arm.
"Come on, Adrien, let's go!" the girl said with enthusiasm, though, in Marinette's opinion, it was as fake as a guy's smile.
"Yes, Lila, yes, we go," the guy sighed tiredly and unhappily while he was dragged away by the girl.
"Poor guy," Marinette murmured under her breath before turning her attention to the next couple, approaching her stand. "Good afternoon! Which movie would you like to see?"
"What did the couple before us choose?" A guy in the cap with the fake moustache and easily noticing changed voice grunted, trying to sound as normal as he could.
"Love Zealot," Marinette read the text in front of her eyes. "Here are the empty seats, the one in the middle is 15 euros per person, if you want the 'kiss row', it will be 13 euros, if you..."
"Two tickets to the 'kiss row'," a girl with a wig (come on, she wasn't even trying to hide her real hair behind it) immediately jumped in, handing over 26 euros and the passports.
"Okay," Marinette decided to ignore whatever was going on there, entering the information about the visitors in the computer. "Your places are K 13 and K 14, enjoy the show!"
"Thank you!" A girl - certainly the leader in their pair - grabbed the guy's arm and they both ran away after the previous couple.
"What a day..." Marinette shook her head, looking after them. Then she turned back to face another pair of customers. And to freeze in shock.
No fear, you can do it.
"Welcome! Which movie would you like to see?" She asked with the same cheerful smile as always.
"Love Zealot, kiss row," a man in the costume said to her, handing over the money. "I'm sure that you don't need our passports?"
"Well, I still need to enter some information in the system?" Marinette was still smiling, trying to not give away her nervousness. "And I think that my employer might ask me if he sees the names of Hawkmoth and Lady Paon there."
"No need to worry," Lady Paon threw her blonde hair aside, before pulling out a fan. "Can you say the number of the director?"
"Uh... It's hanging right over here!" Marinette pointed at the sign above her window. "I'm sure that he will answer immediately."
"Don't worry. Dear? I think the girl deserves a tip," the woman nudged Hawkmoth in the side while typing something in her fan. "Hello? Is it M. Drainer?.."
"I agree with my wife there," Hawkmoth shook his head, before pulling out several hundred euros bills and handing them over to her. "You deserved it."
"If it's a bribe..." Marinette started, ready to refuse the money.
"No-no. Why a couple of villains can not just visit a movie theatre to watch a movie? We're on a break, don't worry, Mlle... Marinette?" He asked, leaning closer to read the badge.
"Uh.. right! Why not?" She couldn't help but that chuckle was nervous, as she was taking the money into the cashier.
"No-no, those money are for you, not in the cashier," the villain smiled at her before turning around to his partner. "Is everything fine?"
"Yes," Lady Paon answered, taking the fan away from her. "You can enter us as Hawkmoth and Lady Paon," she said to Marinette. "The director sent his agreement."
"Wait a minute, please," Marinette said as quickly as she could, entering their names into the system and handing over the tickets to them. "Here are your tickets, your seats are K 15 and K 16. Enjoy the show!"
"Thank you," Lady Paon smiled at her while Hawkmoth just nodded at her and they both left, leaving Marinette alone.
"That was definitely a weird day..." she murmured. "And Tikki won't even hear about it until I tell her... wait, Tikki!"
