She didn't expect her son to do so well, claiming the main eight badges of Kanto, and thus getting a message inviting him to visit the World's Greatest Pokemon Trainer, which he would accept.
And she didn't expect to feel the storm raging from New Island, calling for her true self…The world is possibly not ready for Delia. The world is totally not ready for Mew. The world has no choice but to accept the truth:
Delia is a Mew.
