Akechi moves a little closer to just bury his face between the juncture of Ren’s neck and shoulder, baring the nape of his neck to Ren’s hungry gaze. He feels fangs brush over the sensitive skin and shudders—once, twice. It scrapes along his skin in a deliciously slow pace which makes wetness bubble between his thighs—a confession on its own.
Akechi Goro is the heir to the throne, until he isn't. He has to wait the days out for an alpha he doesn't know, the future that was once his finally revealing itself to be a farce. He does everything to make sure that it will be Ren Amamiya who claims him, and not anyone else.

Dean doesn’t notice it until he’s spent a few weeks back on the road with Sam. There’s really no time to notice before that, of course. He still manages an inconvenient time to notice. They’re clearing out a vampire nest when Sam and Dean end up back-to-back while fighting. Dean freezes for a single moment as his head backs into Sam’s neck.
“When did that happen?” He asks incredulously as he dodges another vampire.
Sam turns to him as he cuts off a vamp’s head. “When did what happen?” Dean blinks. Has Sam really not noticed?
Dean gestures wildly at Sam. “You! You’re… you’re taller than me!” He spits out. He regrets letting Sam know as soon as it’s out of his mouth.
Sam looks at Dean, then down at himself, before looking back up with a grin. “I’m taller than you.” He says smugly.
