   Summary

   I've had this whole How I Won The War au for a while. I may do fanart for it, so I'm letting the notes be public. I may do a better summary later on, plan to anyway. cohesive, like.

   Brief summary: Gripweed from How I Won The War and the Major Paul from Magical Mystery tour exist in the same universe and they fuck. The year is 1940, wherein Gripweed is 25 (born 1915) and Major is 30 (born 1910). This is because John was 25 during the HIWTW filming, and though Paul wasn't 30, his character said he was in the movie, and that seems right to me.

   There are three seperate endings I have thought of 1:Gripweed dies (like in the movie) 2: Gripweed's Brood ending. Major dies, and Grip is now in charge of their kits (NOT ABO) as a single father in the war. 3: they both survive, and go on after the war to live in a Liverpool rowhouse, living off their pension, doing their duty to queen and country by repopulating, as they live a humble post-war working to middle class life.
