"Max I cant"
Was all she said, Max looked at the sky confused a tear down his cheek.
"she is not coming" he whispered
On an impulse he dropped the phone and ran to the door. In the distance he heard his name, he had no time to wait.
As he went down the stairs he started typing a number
"Gwen is an emergency"
On the other side the woman complained, for Max none of that was important he needed to get to where she was.
"have her ready, we're leaving"
He was already at the hospital door, Floyd had followed him down
"Max"
" Max" he yelled louder
"I'm leaving" he said
"what about the hospital" Floyd asked
Max didn't even look at him, he took a taxi and left. He had to pick up Luna, take a plane and get to Helen, maybe it wouldn't be too late.
