Lyra Black was only eleven years old when she lost everything. What healers concluded was a powerful memory charm, Lyra had no recollection of any aspect of her life. She was mysteriously dropped into the hands of a gracious wizarding family who took her in as their own, despite their already full house.
As time went on, Lyra discovered a particular ability set her apart from her peers. An ability that Headmaster of Hogwarts, Professor Dumbledore, deemed as something that should be hidden from others.
After five years of no answers of her history, right before her fifth year at Hogwarts, Lyra finds news that can change everything. An escaped murderer from Azkaban prison is on the loose and shares some eerie similarities to Lyra.
Everyone denies her relation to the prisoner, but Lyra isn’t convinced. She wants to know more about herself and this man may be her only key to unlocking her past.
