Eddie can't sleep. Like, not at all. What used to be his easiest solution- weed- has now become pretty much impossible to indulge in without someone else there to keep him grounded and not send him spiraling even steeper.
So that's logically why he decided to climb through Steve's window in the very middle of the night. And while Steve surely didn't expect him falling through his window in the middle of the night, what Eddie expected even less were the glasses on Steve's face.
