Luz took her own food to her room, closing the door quietly. She flicked on the warm fairy lights that lined her ceiling, plopping down on the twin bed she had in the corner. She closed the blinds in her room after taking a glance outside at the sunset, setting the box of noodles on the desk next to her bed. “Jerk,” she said aloud to herself, laying on her back and staring at the ceiling.
Maybe she could convince Willow and Amity to let her stay with them for a bit or ask Gus if he wanted to try rooming together. Anything would be favorable to having to stay here with Hunter any longer. She was going to go insane.
“ ‘No feelings,’ ” she mocked her roommate quietly, blowing a strand of hair out of her face. “Like I’d ever stoop that low.”
