Five times friends and family wrote letters to the council in support of Nick and Charlie, and one time the council wrote backPart of the Vignettes Universe, this is a side story that mostly takes place between Chapters 6 and 7 of The Road to Someday, with the epilogue coming after Chapter 7, and preceeding the next story in the universe. I don't think you need to be familiar with the AU to understand and enjoy this.
