Summary
He would be mad to do it all over again. And yet. He wanted Julia to have a sibling so she wouldn't grow up alone like he had. He wanted to give Paul another child. He knew he would miss being able to pick Julia up and carry her around and wanted to hold on to that feeling. Most of all he felt capable of having another baby, and raising that baby into a child with their own opinions and emotions.
John and Paul decide to have another baby. That's the easy part.
