“May I introduce to you the Prince of Myeria.”
Jungkook’s second surprise of the night comes when he stands up straight and finally glimpses the face of the prince across from him.
“Taehyung.” Both the silver-haired man and Jungkook speak his name at the same time. One loud enough for everyone else to hear, the other in a reverent whisper.
Golden skin. Golden eyes. Flashes of three nights ago all flutter through Jungkook’s mind as he locks eyes with the Prince of Myeria.

Jungkook is a prince who has always hated being told what to do. So when he’s told he has to marry an unknown prince from another kingdom at the behest of his parents and out of duty, he immediately hates everything about it. Marrying for obligation was never something he wanted to do.
When he meets a mystery man at a party one week before he’s set to marry a man whose face and name he still doesn’t know, he feels immediately drawn to him.
Imagine his surprise when three days later that same man is the one being introduced as his betrothed.
