Bakugo is still struggling with what happened that night in Kamino. How is he ever going to beat his stupid classmates if he can't even get over some damn bad memories? Kirishima is the only thing keeping him from totally withdrawing, but if he saw how Bakugo truly was then he'd probably never want to be around him again. Kirishima is too heroic to ever want to associate with someone as villainous as him.
