Agrivations

Summary:

"Yes, you can send the patient in immediately, sir." You said as you prepped the bed ready for a normal Stormtrooper. You turn to the metal table beside you and lay out all your tools before pulling on some new gloves.

You'd turn around and jump slightly looking at the bed in shock.

Kylo Ren the lord of tantrums and massacres was laying there. This could not get any weirder at all.

Notes:

This is my first work on Ao3 and I'm still not that good at writing but anyway have this :P

Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Medical Emergencies

Chapter Text

You’d yawn after a long night of fixing up Stormtroopers and even Captain Phasma. The mission on Dantooine hadn’t gone too well and lots of troops were injured.

You’d sit in your chair and slowly doze off into a soft sleep before being awoken by General Hux yelling.

You stood up immediately and rushed into the infirmary said to have severe injuries. General Hux stepped in “Doctor we have a patient. I trust you will bring the same promising results.”

The dark lord stared at you as you grabbed handfuls of gauze and rushed over.

You looked at his injury as you prepared your gear. It was a type of injury you’d never seen before.

“What did you get this from?” you asked as you cut his robes away from the slash on his abdomen.

The dark lord was silent. “I need to know or I can’t treat it” he stirred, “Lightsaber,” he said, still staring at you.

You got to work using the gauze to soak up the blood and clean the wound using a salve. You could feel him flinching and staring as you worked.

If he’d just stop staring I might be done faster. But no the emo, goth lord has to keep staring at me while I work! How do you even get stupid enough to be hit with a lightsaber! You’d think to yourself angrily as you worked not showing your anger on the outside.

“I’m not staring” he growled as you started stitching him up. “And I don’t appreciate being called an ‘emo, goth lord’ and fighting Jedi is hard but you wouldn’t know would you’re a doctor”

You’d gulp down. You forgot that he’s a sith lord and can do that sorta mind stuff. You’d look down and finish stitching him up.

You’d bandage him up without another word and he went to stand up. “No no no sir, you're not fit to leave. I need to monitor you for another day.” he’d stand up. “No. I need to put my report in for Snoke. I require your services no more.”

He left without another word and you stood there in shock. No patient had ever said no when you gave them a direct order to stay, usually for the sheer will to stay alive.

You’d sit in your chair in front of your fireplace inside of your quarters. That had been your first interaction with the emo called ‘Kylo Ren

You wondered why out of all the doctors you were chosen. Many doctors were your senior, yet they rushed Kylo Ren, the commander of the First-Order, into your ward.

You stood up and walked over to the kitchen in your quarters and began boiling some water. You’d pull out a jar with a brown powder inside it and take out a spoon. You poured the boiling water in with milk and stirred it around.

“Mmm… coffee” you’d sit back down as your door opened letting a blast of freezing air into your warm quarters. You’d look back to see General Hux standing at your door.

You’d shiver before placing your coffee down and walking over, “General Hux. How can I help you?” Hux looked directly at you. “You weren’t meant to let Kylo out of your sight.”

You were slightly taken aback by Hux’s words. “With all due respect sir, he is my superior and I wasn’t looking to be sliced in half”

Hux nodded before turning to leave. “He will be visiting your ward tomorrow to check in.”

You’d nod and the door would close. You’d sit down and pick your coffee up. It was still hot. You’d curl up and drink your coffee.

You’d push the thoughts of dreading tomorrow's emo visit to the back of your brain and drink your coffee.

You’d wake up to the sound of someone entering your quarters. You expected it to be Hux so you didn’t turn around in your bed.

“Doctor” the voice was metallic and nothing like Hux’s voice. You turn in your bed and almost fall out of bed when you saw who it was.

The dark lord stood at the door, the clearly recognisable mask producing the metal voice sound.

You stood up out of bed. “Sir, what are you doing in my quarters?” you’d look around wondering why.

“I need my ‘check up’” he said, still standing there. You’d notice the crossguard hanging off his belt and thought that it mightn’t be best to anger him, after all, he was notorious for his tantrums.

“I will get ready quickly, Sir. I’ll then escort you to my med ward where I can look at your wound,” you said quickly hurrying to your wardrobe to get your black, First-Order, doctor suit just like the other ones you wore every day.

He’d continue to stand at the door and stare at you as you went into your bathroom.

When you came out after having a shower, brushing your teeth, brushing your hair and drying it, he was still standing there.

“Would you follow me to my med ward, Sir?” you looked down hoping not to catch his harsh gaze even through the helmet which you thought looked like a black bucket where the paint had chipped off in harsh weather.

“My helmet does not look like a bucket, Doctor” you looked up “sorry sir.”

You’d walk past him and exit your quarters, Kylo Ren following close behind you.

You would walk through the main dining hall and into the south wing and take two rights and one left before reaching the ‘hospital’.

You’d walk into the elevator and Kylo followed in standing next to you. He wasn’t too much taller than you but you still found his height intimidating.

The elevator would stop and you’d step out and head towards the ward you ran.

You’d walk towards the same bed that The Dark Lord had laid on, injured the day before. He laid down again and pulled the top part of his robes up so you could look at the wound.

You’d pull the bandages off and look at the regrowing skin and muscle. It appeared to be regrowing well.

You’d wrap it in fresh bandages. “You're free to go, sir.” It seemed as if he lingered for a moment before standing up and walking out without another word.

You’d sit in your chair and begin on some paperwork. Your assistant walked over to you, he had soft, brown hair with beautiful blue eyes.

“Could I get you anything? I just noticed your last patient leaving and I thought you might like something…?” he’d stand there awkwardly.

“A tea thanks,” you said not taking your eyes off your paperwork.

A few minutes later your assistant returned and placed the tea on your desk before going off to complete other jobs.

You’d sit and sip the tea as you did the paperwork.

“You think she’s force sensitive?” Snoke asked his apprentice. “I don’t think, I know I can feel it. The force is strong with her” Kylo responded to his master.

“I wish to train her master.” Kylo said bowing his head to Snoke, “if you will let me”

Snoke stared down his nose at Kylo. “Very well. You may train her. I will send troops to collect her now.”

“Thank you, master,” Kylo said standing up and exiting.
