Six months, it’s finally been six months, meaning Foolish and Punz could finally see each other again. The two made an agreement with each other. An agreement that they’ll only see each other every six months, why? Well it was Foolish’s idea. It started two years ago when they met each other for the first time in Vegas for a Twitch rivals event. Long story short, they found each other endearing and attractive, Punz made the first move. Foolish however wasn’t too sure, he was confused at the time, confused as to why he was feeling that way towards another man, towards his friend, Punz. By the end of it, Foolish told Punz to wait. I want to make sure that this isn’t just a giddy—spur of the moment feeling, something that’ll disappear once we go back to our streaming lives…back to our own homes miles away from each other. Foolish had said that night and Punz nodded with a warm and understanding smile.
Two years, it’s been two years since then and so far they were just as close as they were back then, if not closer. Punz was at the edge of his carseat, any moment now he’d see Foolish walk out the exit from the airport.
He surveyed and observed every person that would walk out the exit door, waiting for the man he’s waiting for to show up. Then, he saw the familiar man, black, fairly long hair, (much to Punz’s dismay) covered behind a plain gray cap. A plain gray shirt which hid his well defined body, a gold chain that Karl coaxed him into buying right around his neck. Simple black shorts that looked just a little bit too small for him, and most of all, his bright, beaming face which shined through the crowd and enticing Punz.
Foolish stopped right in front of Punz’s car to check his phone. And in that same moment, Punz got a notification from his phone.
Idiot<3: I’m here, where are you?
Scumbag :) : Wait what? today’s ur flight?!
Punz decided to just tease the other for a bit with a grin, watching the way Foolish’s face frowned and looked worried from his window.
Idiot <3: you’re an actual scumbag! Yes, today's my flight! You’re supposed to pick me up and be like, a supportive boyfriend D:
Boyfriend Punz smiled at that word, today’s the day they can finally move on from being just close friends. Punz has faithfully waited and Foolish was finally ready, both have faithfully waited to see if their love for each other would waver or fade and it didn’t.
Punz contemplated for a second, thinking if he should keep the joke going for a little longer or open the door so he can finally feel the other’s warmth again. The answer to that thought was immediate and he opened the door, immediately grabbing onto the other and wrapping his arms around the man. Foolish was taken aback for a moment but quickly reciprocated the action and they both just stood there in that hug for a few seconds, maybe minutes.
Foolish eventually pulled away from the hug, making Punz whine and Foolish chuckling at the other’s clinginess. Punz watched as Foolish chuckled and laughed, a smile spreading across his face as his stomach felt warm.
Before Punz knew it, he drew the younger man in, fingers under Foolish’s chin as he pulled him in for a kiss. Foolish kissed back with a grin and their mind went into a state of delighted bliss. Their first kiss with each other, two years of them constantly acting like they were already a thing, two years of their friends constantly asking them about their relationship. Two years isn’t a long time by any means, but it was long enough for them to know that what they’re feeling isn’t just a happy crush that’ll vanish away in a few weeks, it was love and a want to be with each other.
A few moments passed until they both eventually pulled away. A softer grin on Foolish’s face. “I love you.”
Punz has been waiting for two years for Foolish to finally say those words to him and his heart exploded when the other finally said those three simple words. “I love you too.”
With that, they both got in the car, excited for the week they’ll be spending together as official lovers.
