She didn't mean anything to him, that's what he told himself at night every time he thought of her swinging pigtails and curvy hips. Those damn eyes that looked into his soul terrified him but he couldn't help himself from being drawn in every time she looked at him. Even as he stared at the ceiling of his bedroom unable to sleep because of that deep purple haunting him, he told himself that she was just a friend.
