   Summary

Jay stumbles to his feet and grabs Lavender’s arm.

His voice is almost gone. “Lav, it’s not going to stop, not until everyone is infected unless you kill me. You kill me and the infection dies too.”

Tears stain Jay’s face, and the look on Lavender’s face is heart wrenching.

“Lavender, darling please, please, I can’t hurt you all anymore. Not the people I love. The corruption won’t stop.”

Jay was begging, pleading with them now,

He wonders if he’ll be missed.
