Summary
It's been six years since Jiang Cheng mysteriously disappeared from the map, leaving behind only a few letters and his spiritual weapon, Zidian. It's also been a few years since Lan Huan has been alone in the Hanshi, slowly rotting away, living millennia of pain in mere days that pass agonizingly. When he asks to leave Cloud Recess, his uncle sees no reason to keep him there—Lan Huan was already very much like his father, sunk in grief and sadness, unable to continue in his position.
