“High-speed chase down fifth avenue!” Toni sat down the pen she was currently using to write with, looking over at the old police scanner she had sitting on her desk.
She stood up going over to her closet pulling out a huge black chest containing her black and purple suit. She grabbed the suit throwing it on she was just about to put the mask on when all of the sudden her girlfriend entered her apartment.
“Hey TT, you haven’t returned any of my calls I hate to barge in but I just had to make-“ She paused she went to say something but couldn’t find the right words.
“Cher I can explain,” Toni said hiding her mask behind her back.
“You’re Spider woman I know,” Cheryl said interrupting her.
Toni raised an eyebrow, “When did you find out? How did you find out?”
Toni said fiddling with her black and purple mask.
Cheryl inched closer to where the girl was standing, “Toni, seriously?” The taller girl chuckled.
“I mean all those times you’ve shown up for dates late, even the times where we’ve been on dates and you mysteriously disappear. It doesn’t take some kind of genius to figure it out.”
“So now you know that I’m Spider woman?” Toni said with a slight chuckle.
Cheryl sighed, “Why didn’t you tell me?”
Toni took a deep breath before sitting down on her bed, “I wanted to for so long I just thought that if you knew it could possibly put you in danger. I mean I’m not going to lie to you it’s made me have second thoughts about us.”
Cheryl could feel a lump start to form in her throat. Hearing Toni say she was having second thoughts felt like a punch to the chest. “So what you want to break up?”
Toni couldn’t even look at the girl in front of her instead she just kept her gaze on the mask in her hands, “Cher you know I love but it’s not safe. There are people that want to hurt me and if any of them ever found out my identity they’d try and hurt me in the worst way possible and that would be by hurting you. I couldn’t live with myself if I was the reason something happened to you.”
Tears were starting to run down Cheryl’s face, “I don’t care about the risk Toni,” Cheryl said squatting down so she was at eye level with her girlfriend.
“I just want you, let them come for me I don’t care you’re the love of my life I don’t want to be without you,” She said grabbing Toni’s hands
Toni looked up at her girlfriend, “Cher, I’d be putting you in danger, you’re everything I ever wanted. I mean come on I was infatuated with you in high school never in a million years would I of thought that I’d be dating Cheryl Blossom,” Toni chuckled thinking back to all the times she would stand like a love struck idiot every time Cheryl passed by her in the hallway of their high school.
She didn’t want to end things but she felt as though she really didn’t have much of a choice. She wanted to be with Cheryl there was no doubt about that, she just didn’t want to see her get hurt. Which hurt because right now she’s hurting Cheryl by ending things. That’s what comes with being a superhero though sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the greater good or at least that’s what Toni was trying to tell herself.
“I don’t think you being with me is a great idea, I don’t want to lose you but I’d rather see you happy and alive even if it’s not with me.”
Cheryl couldn’t control her tears, “Toni- I,” She tried to speak, but she just couldn’t stop sobbing.
Toni brought her hand to Cheryl’s cheek wiping away some of her tears, “This is for the best Cher I hope you understand.”
Toni rested her hand on the girl's cheek, “I will always love you okay?” Toni said.
Cheryl didn’t say anything instead she leaned in till her lips were met with Toni’s, the kiss started off soft and passionate. That was until Cheryl was straddling Toni causing both of them to fall back onto the bed.
Toni pulled away for a split second, “Cher, we shouldn’t.”
“I at least want one more night with you,” Cheryl said not moving from her position.
Toni sighed giving her girlfriend a soft smile before nodding, Toni leaned in till her lips were once again met with Cheryl’s.
“I’m going to miss this,” Cheryl said snuggling closer into Toni’s side.
“I know I’m going to miss it too,” Toni said kissing the crown of her girlfriend's head.
Cheryl was trying her best to hold in everything she was feeling, she didn’t want to spend her last night with Toni sobbing. She’d save that for when she got home she thought to herself, wiping at her eyes.
Toni looked down at the girl in her arms, “I love you Cher forever and always.”
Cheryl looked up at her girlfriend shooting her a soft smile, “I love you too TT forever and always.”
Toni smiled leaning in till her lips were met with Cheryl’s one last time.

It’s been a ten months since Toni and Cheryl had last seen each other, there were times where Toni would lay in bed at night thinking of the girl she let go those many months ago. Sometimes she would pick up the phone to call the girl, but she always talked herself out of it. She started working at a local bar in New York City thanks to her best friend Sweet pea who owned said bar.
Right now she was currently swinging through the streets of New York City looking for crime. Or at least she was until she got a call from the boy she was just thinking about, “What is it, Sweets? You know I can’t swing and talk on the phone at the same time, might end up hitting a pigeon,” The girl said with a chuckle.
“Where are you? Your shift started ten minutes ago.” The boy said sounding a little irritated.
“Can you get Fangs to cover for me? I’m kind of preoccupied.” She said as she came landing down on top of a building she sat perched looking down at a couple of thugs trying to mug some young blonde.
“Just take whatever you want!” The girl cried throwing her purse at one of the men.
“We don’t want the purse Blondie.” The guy said with a sinister grin.
“Fangs is off tonight, I’ll cover for you for the time being, but you better hurry and get your ass down here.”
“I’ll be there as soon as I can,” Toni said before hanging up the phone.
She jumped down from the building she was currently perched on landing right down in front of the girl.
“Now fellas do you think that’s any way to talk to a woman?”
“It’s that spider bitch from tv!” One of the men shouted.
“Seriously Spider bitch? That's the best you guys can come up with?” Right when she said that one of the men went to throw a punch causing Toni to do a flip and land behind him throwing a punch to the man's cheek. Then doing the same to the other three men.
When she was done she picked up the purse handing it to the young girl, “You alright?”
The girl nodded, “Thank you Spider woman.”
“Don’t mention it,” Toni said before slinging a web onto another building, trying to hurry and make it to her shift at El Royale.
When she made it to the bar she swung down onto the rooftop running over to a duffel bag she had sitting on the roof containing a pair of Jeans and an old black t shirt a long with a pair of combat boots. When she was dressed she jumped down the alley behind the building running in through the back door.
“Finally,” Sweet pea said tossing the rag over his shoulder onto the counter as soon as he saw the girl.
“Sorry Sweets, there was a slight delay.”
The boy shook his head, “This is the third time this week Tiny, you keep it up and I’ll have to let you go.”
Toni gasped throwing her hand over her chest, “You would do that to your dear best friend?”
The boy rolled his eyes at the girls antics, “I don’t want to, but if you’re late again I’ll have to.”
The girl sighed, “Alright boss,” She said saluting the boy.
Sweet Pea sighed before leaning in to whisper in Tonis ear, “Just to give you a heads up Reds here.”
Toni’s eyes widened and she swore that felt her heart skip a beat, as if right on cue here comes the girl Toni can’t seem to get off her mind. She watched as Cheryl made her way over to the bar she didn’t notice Toni, but Toni definitely noticed her. Toni swore that as soon as she saw the girl it felt like everything was in slow motion.
“Can I get a martini please?” Cheryl said rummaging through her purse too preoccupied to even notice that she was talking to Toni.
“Cher?”
Cheryl stopped what she was doing immediately looking up to see if what she just heard was real or some kind of dream, “TT, I didn’t know you worked here?”
“Yeah, Sweets got me a job here about a month ago, uh how are you?”
“I’m good, and you?”
“I’m great.” That was a lie Toni knew it was because she hasn’t felt the same after her and Cheryl’s break up.
“That's good Toni I’m glad to hear that.”
Toni was about to say something when all of the sudden a dark-haired woman made her way over to the bar wrapping her arm around Cheryl’s waist and kissing her on the cheek.
“Hey babe sorry I’m late traffic was insane.”
Cheryl looked at Toni awkwardly, “Toni this is Minerva my fiancé.”
Hearing Cheryl say fiancé almost made Toni feel like her heart had just been snapped into a million little pieces, “Toni, as in the Toni?” Minerva questioned.
Toni raised an eyebrow, “I beg your pardon?”
“I’ve just heard a lot about you, Cheryl’s spoken very highly of you, So it’s nice to meet you.” Minerva said extending her hand out for Toni to shake.
Toni shook her hand, “Wow fiancé? I’m happy for you guys truly.”
Cheryl smiled she went to say something else that was until Minerva interrupted her, “Veronica just texted me she said she tried calling you I guess her and Archie are here, She wanted us to meet her outside.”
Cheryl nodded before looking back at Toni, “It was good seeing you TT.”
Toni smiled as she watched Minerva pull Cheryl away, “It was good seeing you too Cher.” She mumbled.

Later that night she was on her way out of the bar when Sweet pea stopped her.
“Yo, Tiny?” He said sliding her a beer across the counter.
“I can’t drink that.”
He raised an eyebrow, “Why not?”
“Can’t swing and drink.”
He chuckled, “It’s one beer besides felt like you could use it. I saw you and Red at the bar tonight I also saw the chick she was with.”
Toni sighed, “Are you okay?” He said taking a seat at the bar.
“Not really.”
“What happened?” He asked taking a sip of his drink.
“She’s engaged.”
Sweet pea looked at her with remorse, “Damn I’m sorry Tiny.”
“Don’t be I was the one that let her go.”
“Well according to you, you didn’t really have much of a choice.”
Toni took a seat next to the taller boy taking a quick swig out of her beer, “I didn’t, this power is a gift, but yet a curse.”
Sweet pea sighed before patting Toni on the back, “The night is still young? Want to swing by the strip club a few blocks down?”
Toni chuckled, “I’ll have to pass, figured I’d swing around the city see what’s going on out there.”
“Suit yourself, also don’t be late for your shift tomorrow.” Sweet pea said pointing his finger at her.
Toni rolled her eyes, “Alright dad.”
After Toni’s conversation with Sweet pea, she decided to clear her head. So here she was sitting on top of the roof of an old pizza parlor lost in thought, she couldn’t get Cheryl out of her head no matter how hard she tried. It hurt seeing her with someone else, no matter how hard Toni tried telling herself it was for the best she just couldn’t stop thinking about the girl. She began wishing she never got bit by that spider maybe then her and Cheryl would still be together maybe then she would be the one engaged to Cheryl. These thoughts were beginning to consume her, that was until she heard police sirens.
She groaned standing up from the building throwing on her mask before swinging down to see what all the commotion was about.

Toni couldn’t sleep the night before all she could think about was the fact that Cheryl was getting married. She swung around the city all night taking down thugs, and helping the cops take down armed robbers. By the time she went home to get some shut-eye, her alarm was going off signaling that it was time for her shift at the El Royale.
“Wow, you’re actually on time today.” Sweet pea said with a chuckle as Toni made her way behind the bar.
She rolled her eyes while flipping the boy the bird, “Rough night?”
Toni sighed, “You could say that.”
“Have you slept at all? Cuz you look like shit.” Sweet pea said noticing the bags under her eyes.
“Not really,” She said pouring a customer a shot of tequila.
“I can call Fangs and have him cover for you tonight.”
“I’ll be fine, just don’t worry about me.”
“Tiny maybe you should go home and get some rest, Is this about Red?”
“I said I’m fine! Just drop it, okay?” She said raising her voice a little.
Sweet pea threw his hands up backing away slowly, “Alright no need to get all hostile, I’ll be in my office if you need me,” He said before walking off.
Toni continued pouring some drinks for customers, she felt as though the night was dragging that was until she got a visitor.
“Think maybe I could actually get a Martini this time?”
Toni was tending to another customer when she heard an awfully familiar voice causing her head to shoot up.
“Cheryl?”
“Hey TT,” The girl said with a smile.
“You here with Minerva?”
Cheryl shook her head, “No, I’m actually here to see you.”
Toni raised an eyebrow, she was honestly rendered speechless, “Sorry if that’s weird, I just had something I thought I’d ask and you can say no if it’s too weird.” Cheryl began rambling.
Toni chuckled noticing how nervous the girl was, “Cher, it’s okay just ask me,” She said reaching over the counter resting her hand on top of hers.
Cheryl’s eyes widened as she looked down at their hands, Toni swore for a second nothing else mattered, it felt like they were the only two people in the room.
“I was wondering if you’d like to come to my wedding?” Cheryl practically blurted out snapping them both out of their trance.
Toni pulled her hand off of Cheryl’s, “I- uh would love to,” Toni had to mentally slap herself when she said that because she honestly doesn’t think she can sit and watch the woman she loves marry someone else.
“Great! Here’s the invitation.” Cheryl said pulling a red envelope out of her purse.
Toni smiled taking it from her, “I’ll be there.”
“Well, I better get going.” Cheryl was about to walk off when Toni spoke up.
“How about that martini?”
Cheryl turned to look at Toni with a smile, Toni poured the girl a drink and they began catching up, “So how’d you and Minerva meet?” Toni questioned.
Cheryl took a sip of her drink, “We met when I went back to Riverdale to visit my parents. They were having some dinner for my Fathers maple business, Minerva was there trying to close a business deal. We ended up talking and well that was that.” Cheryl shot Toni a half smile.
Toni sighed, “Well, I hope your parents like her way better than they liked me.” Toni chuckled.
Cheryl laughed, “My parents liked you.”
“Pfft please, they despised me, thats why I always had to sneak into your room through your window.”
Cheryl giggled, “Ahh yes our forbidden love, I remember it like it was yesterday. You having to toss pebbles at my window to get my attention, and then you having to climb up the old oak tree in front of my window.”
“Ugh, that tree was my enemy I still have a couple of scars from that tree kicking my ass.”
Both women burst into a fit of laughter, “I miss those days,” Cheryl said.
Toni didn’t say a word instead she just stood there looking at the girl in front of her, Toni honestly wasn’t prepared for what Cheryl was about to say next.
“I miss us.”
Toni’s eyes widened she honestly thought she was dreaming, Cheryl looked down at her phone in a panic when she realized they were the only two left in the bar.
“I didn't realize you guys were closed, I better get going,” She said grabbing her purse.
“Did you drive here?” Toni asked.
“No, I walked.”
“Well let me give you a lift it's pretty late.”
Cheryl shook her head, “No, that’s okay.”
Toni raised an eyebrow, “Are you sure?”
“Positive, good night Toni.” Cheryl said with a smile exiting the bar before Toni could object.
When Toni was finished she swung around the city like she usually did every other night, she was a few blocks from the El Royale, when she heard screams down an old alleyway. She perched onto the ledge of a building and what she saw made her blood boil, her fist formed into a ball. There were two men that had Cheryl backed up against a wall and what they were saying to her caused Toni to see nothing but red. She jumped down behind the men causing them to spin around.
“Oh, now it’s a party!” The man shouted pulling out a pocket knife attempting to stab Toni with it, before the knife could even make contact Toni grabbed the man's arm twisting it till she heard a loud snap.
The other man took off running, Toni chased him all the way down the long alley as soon as she was caught up with him she wasted no time throwing punch after punch. When her work was done she swung onto a building making her way back down to Cheryl. She dangled upside down from a web until her and Cheryl were face to face causing her to jump.
“I told you to let me walk you, are you alright?”
“What do you think?” Cheryl said breathlessly.
“Why don’t you let me swing you home?”
Cheryl stayed silent she didn’t say a word which was causing Toni to become worried, “Cher?”
Instead of saying anything, Cheryl brought her hands to Toni’s face pulling her mask halfway down so that all you could see were her nose and lips, “What are you-” Before Toni could even get another word out she was cut off by Cheryl’s lips crashing into hers, the kiss was different from any other kiss they have ever shared. This one was filled with more than just lust it was filled with passion and the need to be close to one another. Toni can’t even deny that she not only wanted this she craved this.
As they pulled away they stood there just taking in one anothers presence, Cheryl had her hands resting on both sides of Toni’s cheeks as Toni rested her forehead against Cheryl’s. Neither one of them said a word that was until Toni finally found the courage to say something.
“Cher, as much as I enjoyed every second of that you’re getting married.”
Cheryl pulled away with a look of sadness, “But, you’re the one I love.”
Toni jumped down so that she was standing in front of the girl, “Cheryl I love you too, but I can’t risk you getting hurt.”
“What if I told you that without you I am hurt? That I was hurt for months after our break up. I never got over you I’m still not over you.”
“What about Minerva?”
“I care for her I do, but you are my one true love.”
Toni sighed, “Cheryl we can’t.”
Tears began to stream down the girls cheeks, “Why don’t you let me take you home? You’ve been a lot through a lot tonight.”
“I’ll call a cab,” Cheryl said before taking off.
“Cher!” Toni shouted, but it was too late she was gone.

Memories of that night have tormented Toni, she can’t eat she can’t sleep all she can think about is the kiss. She wants Cheryl she does, but all she can think about are the risks. Putting Cheryl at risk puts her in a world of stress she has even turned to alcohol to drown out everthing shes feeling, but alcohol only works for so long and it doesn’t make the problems disappear. As she was trying to drown out all of the pain a sudden knock at the door interrupted her.
“Who is it?” She shouted.
“Housekeeping!” A very gruff voice answered back.
She rolled her eyes, “Go away Sweets!”
Right when she said that the door opened revealing the dark haired boy, “Damn, did something die in here?”
“I’m not in the mood,” She said taking a quick swig out of a bottle of tequila she had sitting in the floor next to her.
“Since when do you drink?”
“Since I have nothing good in my life.”
The boy raised an eyebrow taking a seat next to her, “Since when did you get all doom and gloom Batman?”
“Sweet Pea I really don’t have the patience right now.”
He sighed, “Is this about Cheryl?”
Toni didn’t say anything instead she went straight for the bottle again, “I’m worried about you, you haven’t been to work in a week. I mean whens the last time you left the apartment?” He said looking around at the piled up take out boxes along with empty tequila bottles.
“This isn’t like you Tiny, what happened?”
She took a deep breath, “Last week at the bar Cheryl came in and gave me a wedding invitation, we ended up cathing up that night we began reminiscing about the past and then she told me she missed me, she left in a hurry. I closed up the bar and went out looking for crime these guys were trying to do horrible things to Cheryl and then we kissed.”
Sweet Pea’s eyed widened, “So is this all about the kiss or is it about the wedding.”
“It’s about everything, I wish i would of never gotten bit by that spider I mean maybe then I’d still be with the woman I love.”
He raised an eyebrow, “Yeah see I still don’t get that, I mean before Red even found out you were Spider Woman who tried to hurt her?”
“Sweets, people want me dead they hate Spider Woman. Whos to say one of those people finds out who I am and goes after Cheryl.”
“I think you’re thinking way too deep into it, look you’re miserable without Red. I say save yourself the hurt quit your moping get your ass up and go get your girl.”
“But, Sweets-” Sweet Pea cut her off.
“No buts go get in the shower because no offense you smell like something died. Get dressed and I’ll drive you over to her apartment. I’m not going to sit and watch you do this to yourself, you need to tell her how you feel.”
Toni sighed but didn’t object she did exactly as the boy had said.
As Sweet Pea’s car approached the familiar building Toni couldn’t help, but feel a knot start to form in her stomach. She honestly thought she wasn’t going to be able to face the girl. When Sweet Pea parked the car Toni looked over at him.
“I don’t think I can do this,” She said feeling as though she could vomit.
“If you don’t go up there I’ll throw you over my shoulder and make you.”
Toni glared at the boy as she got out of the car, when she finally approached Cheryl’s apartment door she went to knock, but hesitated. Right when she finally mustered up the courage the door swung open revealing the redhead she can’t seem to get off her mind.
“Toni?” She said confused.
“Cher, uh can we talk?”
“Toni, I don’t have time for whatever it is you want to talk about, I’m meeting my parents and Minerva for dinner.”
Toni swallowed harshly, “It’ll only take a second, please?”
Cheryl crossed her arms, “Fine, what is it?”
“I’m an idiot I should of never let you go, I was just concerned for your safety. The thing is though I’m lost without you, you are the woman that I love and I don’t want to be without you. When we kissed it was like this hole in my heart was finally filled just for a split second.”
Cheryl looked at Toni with teary eyes, “Toni I love you I do, but you’re too late I’m marrying Minerva tomorrow, I’m sorry.” She said brushing past Toni because she didn’t think her heart could take standing there for another second.
Toni didn’t say a word as she got back into Sweet Pea’s car, “How’d it go?”
She looked over at the boy with teary eyes, “I lost my girl,” She began to sob.
Sweet Pea looked at her with remorse as he pulled her into his arms.
The car ride back to Toni’s apartment was silent except for the faint tune of the raido. Sweet Pea offered to take her out for drinks, but Toni declined all she wanted to do was be at home. Normally she would patrol the city, but she knew that probably wasn’t a good idea. She went to get out of the car when Sweet Pea spoke up.
“You think you’re ready to move on?”
Toni sniffled, “I don’t know if I can.”

Cheryl was currently standing in her dressing room looking at herself in the mirror, she inhaled deeply today was supposed to be a day where she felt happy like nothing else mattered. So why was she feeling so lost? She didn’t get it she was starting to grow angry with herself confusion isn’t a feeling you should be feeling on your wedding day, There was a knock at the door.
“Come in!” She shouted.
“Cheryl you look beautiful!” Her mother said with a beaming smile.
“I don’t feel beautiful.” She said with a sigh.
Her mom raised an eye brow while walking over to her running her fingers through her red locks, “Something on your mind dear?”
Tears began running down the girls cheek, “I just don’t think I should be doing this it doesn’t feel right.”
The woman rolled her eyes, “Is this about Toni?”
Cheryl didn’t answer which only made her mom assume that her suspicion was true, “You need to get over her, she left you.”
“She did it for good reason.”
Her mom chuckled, “What good reason to become a bartender and a failed photographer. Minerva is good for you shes financially stable has a good job. Not to mention she is lovely, she can give you things Toni never could. I mean come on what could Toni really give you?”
Cheryl was starting to grow angry, “She gave me unconditional love.”
Her mom rolled her eyes, “You know I never liked that girl, she was trash. I always knew you two would never work. She was a gang member from the wrong side of the tracks, I always thought you could do so much better and I was right.”
“Toni is not trash she is an amazing person that would do anything and everything she could for me, even as teens she would spend her last dime just to get me a birthday gift or an anniversary gift or even just to take me out on a date. She may not have grown up with money, but she grew up knowing how to treat people,” Cheryl went to walk away that was until her mom said something else.
“You better not ruin this wedding after all the money we have put into it, especially not for Serpent trash.”
Cheryls blood was boiling before she could say anymore Veronica came bursting in, “The wedding is about to start,” She said with a smile.
“Cheryl are you okay?” Veronica said concerned.
“Shes fine, now come on dear we don’t want to keep your bride waiting,” Penelope said.
Cheryl inhaled deeply as she made her way down the aisle, every step she took the more regret she felt this should be her and Toni, not Minerva. As she made her way up to the alter Minerva took her hand with a bright smile. Cheryl didn’t pay much attention to what the priest said. All she could think about was Toni, or at least thats all she could think about until it got to the wedding vows.
“Cheryl, from the moment I saw you I knew I had to make you mine, when you had agreed to let me take you out I was on cloud nine, then when you and I had shared our first kiss it was like fireworks went off through my entire body from that day on I knew you were the one for me.”
Minerva continued talking, but Cheryl didn’t care she stopped listening after Minerva said she was the one for her because for Cheryl that wasn’t the case Toni was the one for her. She was so lost in thought she didn’t even realize that all eyes were on her, She looked around confused.
Minerva noticing this raised an eyebrow, “Babe your vows.”
“Oh right silly me,” She said laughing nervously, she pulled out the sheet of paper.
She cleared her throat getting ready to speak, “Minerva I-” She paused scanning the room to see if by just some kind of miracle Toni was in the room, but she wasn’t.
Cheryl sighed, “I can’t do this.”
Minerva looked at her confused, “You what?”
“I can’t marry you I’m sorry,” The girl said before she took off running down the alter.

Toni decided that she needed to move on after a long night of thinking, so she started by cleaning up her apartment as she was picking up something caught her eye, it was Cheryls wedding invitation. She picked it up giving it one final look before tossing it into the trash bag, when her apartement was all clean she went over to her desk turning on her old police scanner, she figured the city could use Spider Woman. She sat down at her desk pulling out her journal along with a pen she went to write something, but jumped when her apartment door swung open revealing an out of breath Cheryl in a wedding dress.
“Cheryl, what the hell?” Toni said standing up.
“Toni, I had to see you.”
“Aren’t you supposed to be at your wedding?”
“Well I was at my wedding, I was right in the middle of my vows when I realized what I was about to do. I was about to marry someone that I wasn’t even in love with. The whole time I was up on that alter you were all I could think about, because you Toni Topaz are the love of my life. I have loved since I was sixteen years old and I still love you to this day and I will continue to love you till my last breath. I don’t care about the risks all I care about is you, you’re all I want and all I need.”
Toni’s eyes were stinging at this point before she could even speak Cheryl was running over to her throwing her arms around her neck, they stood there just holding one another too afraid that if either of them let go they would lose one another again. When they finally did pull away Toni wasted no time bringing her lips to Cheryls the kiss was filled with so much love and passion when both girls pulled away they rested their forehead against one anothers.
“I will never let you go again,” Toni whispered.
Cheryl smiled, “I love you.”

They went to go in for another kiss when Tonis police scanner went of, “High speed chase down sixth street.”
Toni looked at Cheryl, “Go get em tiger.” Cherly said giving Toni one last kiss.
Toni suited up she went over to the window before looking at Cheryl one last time, “Be here when I get back?” Toni questioned.
Cheryl smiled, “You can count on that.”
Thats all Toni needed to hear before she took off.
