"You don't date." Mencken sounds amused. "Like, not at all? I hadn't heard any rumors, but I thought that was your PR team controlling shit."
Roman shakes his head, and ashes the cigarette out on the wall before he drops it on the ground. "I do better on my own." He glances Mencken's way only to meet his casual gaze, and shrugs at him, annoyed at the instinct to be a little defensive. Enough people have considered him a weird recluse for this shit. "Not everyone needs something like that."
"I guess I just assumed someone your age with your resources would be banging as much Grade-A pussy as possible," Mencken muses. "Making a ton of bad decisions just because you could get away with anything. I know I would have." The corner of his mouth lifts up into the slightest blend of a smirk and smile. "Have I run across the one and only mature 21 year old on the planet?"
