Summary
After everything blows over, Eddie expects to be left alone again. Instead he adopts a cat, a few brats, and suddenly finds a friend in Steve Harrington of all people. Steve, who cuddles with his cat and brings him trinkets and gifts he finds, like said cat with dead mice. Steve, who tries to watch movies he doesn't get for Eddie's sake and passes out everywhere in his house once again like a cat. Steve, who Eddie definitely doesn't want to rail within an inch of his life.
Meanwhile, Steve is so relieved that he's getting a few hours of nightmare free rest for once, that he doesn't notice he's neck deep in a sexuality crisis and that it's all Eddie Munson's fault. Thank god Steve has people like Robin to pull his head out of his ass.
tldr I wanted to write an Eddie Munson gets a cat fic and an Eddie Munson becomes Steve Harrington's insomnia cure fic and a Steve Harrington is touch starved and seeks out Eddie's touch because he isn't gay so it's just platonic right? right? fic and this is the combined result.
