Akari noticed it when Manami was laughing.
Yukiko, Akari, and Manami were eating lunch together as usual. Laughing and giggles were made while they shared their food together.
A certain joke that Yukiko made Manami laugh hard. While she was clutching her stomach and grinning widely while laughing uncontrollably. Akari was laughing too until she noticed it.
A fang.
Now, it doesn’t take a genius to know that it is a clear duplicate to Karma Akabane’s fang, but that didn’t stop her from going through the entire class’s features.
Takebayashi doesn’t have fangs. That’s for sure, but neither does he talk to Manami that much just when she has a few questions for him and vice versa. Sugino and Nagisa didn’t either, and of course they’re also both off limits for…personal reasons. Rio is pretty much the female Karma, but instead grows devils horns and nothing else and isn’t as close to Manami as the rest of the group is. Still a very scary sight for Akari though. Yukiko and Akari were crossed off too. They both didn’t have fangs and they of course, influence Manami in a different way.
This left Karma. The only one that actually has this feature. While She and Yukiko were her first close friends, there was a special spot in Manami’s heart for the prankster. He influences her in ways a platonic relationship could never. Almost never apart. And even though Manami is totally unaware of Karma’s feelings, they would make a fine couple.
Akari sighed as she thought to herself, ‘Truly a match made in hell.’
