   Summary

   When Ash Carver’s hand-me-down car breaks down in the middle of a severe storm she turns to an old friend that pushed her away. Being too frightened to stay in her car and wait out the storm and needing to call someone to pick her up she ends up at the doorstep of her ex best friend. Gareth Emerson wasn’t expecting to see his best friend that he would do anything for show up soaked on his doorstep late in the afternoon, but he can’t turn her away with that sad look in her eye while her worst fear rolls overhead.
