Chapter Text
"Okay spill." Sunoo blurted. Him and Jungwon have been walking around the mall for a quite while now, and now they're heading to fancy restaurant to eat.
"Let's eat first.." Jungwon said, walking ahead of the other.
Both of them are no friends at all so when Jungwon called, early in the morning asking him to meet. He knew something was up.
Here we go again.
Walking with Jungwon around the mall is awkward, though the younger sometimes initiate small talks between them but non of them lasts because Sunoo's replies are dry. He is not really a talkative person, maybe he was, but not anymore.
In the middle of them eating, Jungwon finally speak up.
"There's someone i need you to meet up with." he said, poking on his steak.
"I knew it. But no." he said, not even bothering to think about it. He felt the younger looked at him. But he ignored it, eating still.
"What? Why?" he said, he sounds offended but he didn't care much. Instead he looked intently into the younger's eyes before answering.
"The last time i attended to one of your blind dates, i almost got myself killed by their crazy ex girlfriend. And you made it very clear that it's the last one." he said.
"Yeah i know, i said it was the last but—"
"No 'buts'. Plus I already got a job." Sunoo said he was about to stand to leave when the younger grab onto his arm, he look like he was about to cry, for real.
"Why did you even agree to meet up in the first place?" Jungwon blurted a little loud than it's normal tone and it made other customers look at their direction.
Sunoo didn't know why did he agreed so to answer that question, his words ended up strangled.
"I—."
"I know you knew about this and you want to help me. I know it." Jungwon said, a tear rolling down on his cheeks.
"If you leave now then you will never see me again."
Pang.
Sunoo knew the younger is blackmailing him but he really can't afford to see him go, Sunoo knew he wasn't just going anywhere and the younger might just actually suicide and he really can't afford to see that.
They were once, best friends.
"Okay, this is the last." Sunoo said.
That's why both of them are now seated on a cafe. Jungwon said that they should meet ASAP to plan things out.
"Okay so what's your plan?" he asked.
"It's simple. You just have to make them not ask for another date. Um.. you have to be mean to them and I know you you are already a mean person, pun intended, but anyways that's all I think."
"So basically, I just have to make them to not like me or i should say, you?"
"Yeah—."
"Well, that's basic." he interrupted.
"I know right."
"Yeah.. do you perhaps, have any idea to whom might this person be. I don't want to get myself stuck in some weird things you know.." he asked not expecting much since it was a 'blind date'.
"I don't know anything at all, i just know that they're known to the industry but I don't know who is who." the younger said in lieu.
Okay make sense, industry means people in there are afraid of controversies, and scandals. And they have to have a good history to be able to enter industry. So Sunoo thinks there are no harms to try.
After their talk, Sunoo had to go because he still have a job to attend to so he can make living. They bid their goodbyes when they got outside the coffee shop.
Days have passed like any other days, sometimes Jungwon would call out of nowhere but Sunoo knows that's just a habit from the past so he doesn't really mind.

"WHAT?! NO!" Heeseung exclaimed.
"Yes." his grandfather said. The older had visited him on his office a while ago saying he have some news to say but this is just ain't it.
"Jongseong help me okay." Heeseung said, looking at his friend that's now playing dumb. He surely knows something about this, he thought.
"No. Jongseong is not going to help you in any kind of way Heeseung. You're going to blind dates because I told you so.. I'm getting really tired of seeing you suffer alone handling this company, at least have someone on your side to suffer it with." his grandfather said, chuckled afterwards like this is a joke.
He still can't believe this is happening, he looked to his friend again only to saw pity on his eyes but in the same time kinda want to laugh.
"Stop. You think this is funny?" Heeseung shouted to his friend but there is no bite.
"This is just karma coming for you." Jongseong said before sipping to the americano in his hands.
"Come on child. It's not something bad, at least try. You might actually like someone along the way." is the last thing his grandfather said before standing up and making his way to the door to leave.
"So.." his friend said but not completing it, letting Heeseung to say something about the situation.
"You knew it?" the older said.
"Ah. Well, i just kinda know since he's been blabbering about that on the phone with someone and I happen to be with him on the same car on the way here i guess?" Jongseong said, explaining it with hand gestures.
"You guess huh? Now it make sense why all of my schedules for the following weeks got cancelled. Is there anything else do you "happen" to know?" he sarcastically asked not expecting the other to answer but he did.
"Some are outside the country."
"WHAT THE FUCK!?"
People sure love surprising him to death.
