“President Raiko! President Raiko! President Raiko!”
The aforementioned man was holding a press conference in response to the allegations that he would overturn several of the United Republic council decisions and rulings. The press caught on quickly, too quickly for Raiko’s liking, and so he decided to get ahead of the rumors and control the narrative. It had been extremely tedious for Raiko to answer the unending barrage of questions from the annoying press.
“Yes, you in the red.” he pointed to a man off to the side.
“Thank you, President Raiko, how would you address the rumors of you reversing legalizing gay marriage and equal opportunity housing?”
Inwardly Raiko spat vilely at the man. “I have yet to have an opportunity to look at all the decisions the Council has made throughout the years, and I haven’t gotten close to those resolutions. What I have noticed are things that contradict what makes our fair city stand out from all the other cities in the world, what makes our city so great, so prosperous than anywhere else. My plan over the next coming weeks is to find which decisions don’t fit into our city’s beliefs and core values. Thank you. Yes, you in the back in the blue.”
“Way to dance around the issue.” Asami stated stoically and quietly towards Korra who was standing near her, barely opening her mouth while talking.
Korra snorted quietly, “I know, right? Way to dodge the question entirely. He’s been doing this for hours and hasn’t even addressed us, why are we even here?”
“Because, Korra, we represent the pinnacle of Republic City. CEOs of giant successful businesses that started up here. We have the police force that standardized metal bending. We have top scholars who were born here. And then we have you, the Avatar, that chose Republic City to be your base of operations.”
“Only because Tenzin and you guys are here.”
“Doesn’t matter, they’re going to use it to their advantage. It’s what politicians do.” Asami stated matter-of-fatly.
“Well, this is stupid…”
A few minutes passed and Asami suddenly bit her lip in fear of laughing out loud. She let out a couple quick puffs before Korra turned her attention towards her.
“Turn around.” Asami ordered, her voice couldn’t sound serious.
“What? I was wondering what was wrong.”
“What’s wrong is Raiko….and since you think this is stupid, would you like to ruin his day?”
There was a pause, as Korra tried to understand what was being asked of her. “What do you mean?” her face looked perplexed.
“Be careful, you might be cited for reacting to whatever President Whacko said.”
“What did you say?” Korra tried her hardest not to laugh.
“I asked you if you want to ruin his day?”
“Sure? I’m sure my approval rating can’t get too much lower.”
“Good.” a small, accomplished smile formed across Asami’s lips. “Then, here’s what we’re going to do. I’m going to walk over to you, and we’re going to make out.”
“What?!” Korra couldn't believe her ears. Korra has been recently fantasizing about that specific situation, her and Asami, kissing each other passionately…but the crowd of people definitely weren’t in that fantasy.
“Are you in or not?”
Korra couldn’t answer, she froze in fear. This is what she wanted. What she thought about before she went to bed every night.
“You have five seconds to stop me. Once those five seconds are done, I’m walking over there and nothing will stop me.” Asami gave her final warning. She was expecting Korra to interject, but it never came.
Korra counted down in her head.
Five.
Korra thought about how sensational it must feel like with a beautiful woman’s hands rubbing all over your body.
Four
How the most attractive woman alive would smell like, how it would feel like when her body pressed into hers.
Three
How unbelievable it would feel when she’d force her tongue into her mouth.
Two
How magnificent it would be to have those soft plump lips crashing into hers, the sounds that she would cause her to make.
One.
How incredibly wet—
“Time’s up” Asami stated, Korra’s timing must’ve been off, but it didn’t matter anymore. Asami flipped her hair and beelined it towards Korra. Several press members took notice but still tried to get Raiko’s attention.
When Asami got in front of Korra she lipped her lips seductively to her as she got a good look at Korra. She was breathing harder, her eyes dilated, her cheeks burning red, and her mouth hung agape just so. Asami cocked her head, “Oh? Have you been waiting for me?” she raised her eyebrow flirtatiously. Asami tilted her head slightly and leaned in slowly, “That’s a good girl.” she whispered. Their lips finally connected, and Korra couldn’t hold back the moan.
Asami turned them so the entire press could see them, but she didn’t get the immediate reaction she hoped for and so she escalated it quickly. Her arms started to run up and down Korra’s entire body, she shoved her knee between Korra’s legs. The crowd in front of them started to react then. She drove her tongue into Korra’s mouth, causing her to moan again, which finally caused Raiko to turn around, the remainder of the crowd followed suite.
“Wha…What is going on here? This is preposterous! This is indecent! The nerve of you two doing that, right now! How could you?”
Asami pulled away, with a confident sneer on her face, “Can’t dance around the subject now, can you? President Raiko.
Raiko huffed, “That’s absurd! I-I don’t have to take this! This is over!” he announced as he quickly walked off the stage.
“Gay Marriage Equality!” Asami shouted out as she raised her fist in the air towards the crowd as they started to take pictures.
