“Edward? What happened?” Jonathan asked him as he passed by the other man’s cell on his intake.
“You bite one too many guards and they muzzle you!” Edward yelled and Jonathan snickered. They were being put into cells next to one another again so he had all the time in the world to hear this story.
“How many guards did you bite?” Jonathan asked him, with an eyebrow raised. He had had his fair share of scrapes with the guards and even bitten one on an occasion, but he had never been muzzled.
“It was only four! And it wasn’t like I bit that hard!”
“Don’t let him deceive ya, he drew blood with two of them,” Harley’s voice floated up from whatever cell she was in.”
“Shut up Harley,” Edward hissed. “It was only on one, the second one just got the previous guard’s blood on him.”
“Blood from one, not from two. Come now cat, what did you do?” Jervis’s voice came from Crane’s other side and he smiled.
“Didn’t know you were back in here Jervis,” Crane commented.
“Bats brought him in yesterday,” Eddie said. “And didn’t even think to break me out,” he grumbled and Jonathan only just heard him.
“Hey, be quiet!” One of the guards yelled and Crane let out a little huff, this was going to be a very eventful few weeks until he could get out of here.
