Chapter Text
Whisper thought she was alone. She had walked a good while and was sitting down on a hill. What happened next was something slammed into her and knocked her down.
She groaned as she got up, opening her eyes a little. Her blue eyes went wide as she saw someone familiar. Tangle the Lemur groaned as she got up and adjusted her backpack. Her amethyst purple eyes saw blue eyes and she gulped.
"Tangle?"
The lemur chuckled nervously and helped her friend up. "Um, hey Whisper.."
"What are you doing here?"
Before the lemur could answer, Whisper's cloak flew open, releasing her group of little wisps. The little aliens circled around Tangle as they pressed themselves against the lemur.Tangle patted their heads giggling before clearing her throat. She explained the situation as Whisper silently groaned and pinched the bridge of her nose. "You're going to get hurt."
"Promise you I won't!"
"You were in a forest fire!"
The two girls bickered for a little more as after a few minutes they came to an understanding. Whisper walked while Tangle followed and walked beside her. The lemur looked down at her best friend's hand.
‘I could hold her hand..tell her what I’ve been feeling..’
“So what did you do to find me?” Whisper interrupted their silence.
“Oh! Well, I got a few tips here and there, mostly me just asking around. I rode on my bike and swinged on the trees but I then slipped and well..crashed into you. Sorry.”
“S’fine.” The two walked and chatted while the wisps talked with them in their alien language. Tangle scooted a bit closer to the wolf.
