After leaving behind the great celebration at Cang Qiong Mountain, Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe spent the rest of the day avoiding other cultivators on their way to said celebration and other people in general.
When night fell, they ended up at a small inn in a little village, far off from the major sects. It kind of was like neutral ground for both of them. No cultivators, no demons, just the inn owner and them, not even other guests. And because Shen Qingqiu didn’t see the point in, one, hurting Luo Binghe again by distancing himself from the other and, two, pretending that he hadn’t caught feelings for Luo Binghe, because of that, they got one room instead of two.
“I don’t know if I could hold back when being this close to shizun,” Luo Binghe said when asked, remorse and guilt written all over his face.
