Summary
Apparently, Xiao Zhan knows more than him, and here was good and foolish Yibo thinking that his years in medical school had taught him a thing or two about what keeps people healthy and safe.
Xiao Zhan doesn’t listen. Before Yibo or the nurses notice it, he’s gone. Probably miles away from headquarters, following the lead of some criminal organization, collecting intelligence or on some clandestine operation, which Yibo's clearance level does not allow him to know about.
The problem is that Xiao Zhan’s behavior often leads them to scenarios like this one: him in Yibo’s living room bleeding at 3 am.
“I told you and them, that you needed a few more days to rest… you shouldn’t… fuck, hey Xiao Zhan, Xiao Zhan… Zhan-ge, please, don’t die on my sofa…”
Or Xiao Zhan is a busy secret agent, and Yibo is a tired doctor who gets involved in a conspiracy to prevent the secrets of the Agency they both work for from being leaked.
