Liyue used to be warm, but now the sun burns--the stares of the people burn. However, the one person who's gaze should burn the most is still warm, and Childe can't understand why. The emotional ramifications of attempting to destroy an entire city by reviving an old god to potentially kill a living god weight on Childe more than he realizes.
